Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

I'm guessing it's because we are off site guests and no tickets are linked. Interestingly enough, the IT gal I talked to this AM told me not to bother linking my UT tickets because as an off site guest, I will not be eligible to use FP + for our December trip. She said FP - isn't going anywhere for a while though.


I'm guessing my parents have no Edna because they only have a room ressie. No tickets. My thought is no tickets, no FP+ for them even though they are staying on site at Pop.

But who knows. It's really anyone's guess at this point.

I have Edna and we're staying offsite and don't have passes yet. I thought that maybe it was taking time to download Edna to everyone.

Of course, the website is glitchy. Maybe me having it is a mistake.

You should see a tiny window close to the top of the page that shows "My Plans". Click on the small window and it pops up to a larger window and Edna and some guy talk about how to use FP+ and so on.

At one point the instructions said you should link your resort package or tickets. Just tickets at some point? Maybe? Hmmmm.....

I have Edna now on my laptop! But, still of no use to me YET since we are at the Swan. We shall see what happens as December gets closer I guess

The IT girl this morning said that I won't be able to link my Swan ressie and she told me NOT to link my UT tickets, BUT, I think I will link those UT tickets at some point anyway, just in case we get lucky. I would think the S/D would be one of the first "off site" resorts to get to test for off site people? I could be way off on that, but I want to be ready just in case.

Question. How do I see the MB and FP+ stuff on the iPad? I'm logged into the app, but don't see it there?

I don't believe purple is an option. They have green, pink, blue, red, orange, yellow, and gray.

They had purple in the promo's for MB's, but it hasn't shown up as an option....yet. I keep hoping as well, but so far...no purple.

So far purple is not an option and I can get Edna on my iPad when I open a browser and go to MDE website. Not on the MDE app.

ive been a bad busy mom and haven't had time to check the dis lately. we arrive 9 weeks today. I logged in this am and saw a tutorial for making day by day plans.

now heres the issue: were dvc and bought the premium ap's when on sale last year, so we have paper tickets we used when we arrived in feb. I linked the tickets months ago but am wondering what the tutorial means? will I get to pick fp plus? or is it showing for all at a certain point? I know they will not mail the bands to Canadians. I can't re link the tickets so I can't follow the steps it suggests.

any thoughts, or am I waiting till December? which in all honesty I don't care, cus were just excited to be going back!!!! but if its something we can do now, Id love to take care of it.

You still have your paper APs? You'll have to exchange them when you go to one of the parks.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My father has a form of non Hodgkins lymphoma, mantel cell lymphoma. I didn't know about their color being green. Do you know if that is for all forms of lymphoma? And, thank you for sharing...

It's non Hodgkin's lymphoma specific.

We purchased the DVC Premium AP's during the promotional as well. I linked our PAP Certificates to MDE. I just entered the number on the back of each ticket and it took them. When in MDE they show up as "DVC Member Premium Annual Pass Promo-New-Certificate". Also, we will have to activate the PAP's, just like normal, in order to use them. We have a ressie for Nov. 30 at AoA before our Dec. 1 check in at SSR, and I have been able to make FP+ ressies for our whole trip.

I am right there with ya! Hurry up and let me customize!! Although, I still can't decide what color MB I want... wonder how many times I'll change my mind before they send it..?

Just to make sure I'm ready to go when December launches... Can someone confirm for me: Currently I have 2 of the new green cards, and then a DVC PAP that expires mid trip, and 3 additional old style paper tickets. I have linked them all to MDE and all of them are showing under "my tickets" and are appropriately matched to the family member I assigned them to. (On both laptop and MDE App on iphone) BUT... Only the two green cards are listed under the list when I click "manage magic bands/cards". Is this normal? Since my other tickets (including my PAP) are showing under the reservations/tickets section, does that mean they are properly linked and I will have no problems creating magic bands and making FP+ selections?

On the My Disney Experience briefing with Edna Mode (MDE tuturial on disneyworld website) video it shows being able to make fast passes and magicband customizing at 46 days! I'm at 48 days now, and hopefully you can tell us tomorrow if this is true I know I'm grasping at straws now, but you never know!

Just now when I was playing around with the FP+ thingy a different screen came up that had date in October to pick from and then a pop-up screen came on and said I needed to have someone linked with dates in the date range. Now I can't get to it again, but I had never seen that before . . . I know I am too earlier to make reservations (I am still a little more than 60 days out with checking in on the 22nd), but it made me hopeful that it will be up sooner rather than later!
