Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

Just wanted to subscribe as I am sure I am going to hear here first then get an invite to participate when they open up December. Tried to do online check-in today on MDE and received the Goofy Error page when going from Page 2 to Page 3 (happened after hitting next when it asked to select PINs for payment). Eagerly waiting as we would like to have Magicbands since we normally just go with keys and a photo id so this would be nice for touring

We arrive at AKL on Dec 7th. I was able to do the online check-in last night at our 60 days out mark. But no MBs as of yet. We keep trying every few days until they appear.

We also are checking in to AKL on the 7th! Howdy neighbor!

We're checking in on Dec 8 as well (POFQ), and the first 3 times I tried to do it today (me? obsessive? ), I got the same thing you did, in the same place. I waited a couple of hours and tried again. This last time, I was able to go through the entire process, but at the very end, I got a Goofy error message. However, now if I look at my MDE page, it says "Modify" instead of "Online Check-in", so I think (hope) it worked.
However, still no change on the Magicbands or being able to do FP+

Still ... can't wait!

All December guests, as of now, should receive magic bands for their stay. It's just a matter of when.

While I agree that December guests are almost certainly going to get MBs, there has been no official communication from Disney confirming this. It's extremely unlikely, but not impossible (based on official communication) that no testing or roll out will be active in December. I say this because I'm going crazy waiting for the official word!

I did my online check-in today at mydisneyreservation.com. It kind of looks to me like the old reservation page, where you can pick two requests and link your credit card, but not choose a pin. I got a confirmation email, so I hope it's okay. I think I'll try the other check-in in a few weeks, anyway, since I'm just at 60 days.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY IT KEEPS GOOFY ERROR...My TA did my online checkin for me and I have tried to modify to see if it will trip something up to give the mb / fp + selections but I can not get through the modify process w/out it showing me Goody and ERROR. My trip is 12/6/2013 and this is my last hurdle.....

Aahhhhh... I'm getting tired of waiting for FP+! We are meeting my nephew Dec. 1st. when we arrive. He checks in Nov. 30 and has already made most of his FP+ choices. I'm starting to get irritated now. I wasn't concerned until I heard my nephew was all set and ready to go! Patience....patience...patience.......

This is what happened to me today also- I am now at Modify instead of Online check-in- exactly the same way as what happened to you. So I am hoping it is done I will call in a couple of days to see.

Of course, this could change at any given moment. But if December follows suit, then it should happen towards the end of October.

I don't think they would just cancel testing. But who knows? LOL. What leads you to believe that?

I've been getting the Goofy error all day too. I'm at 60 days out and I've tried 3 times and can't do online check in. I'll just keep trying each day and hopefully it will eventually allow me to do it.

I've had that error since Saturday. I sent an e-mail to web site support via their contact link and have not heard anything from them.

I just think that's its the first tangent thing that we can do this close to the visit. If MB or FB was the first thing you could do, i would assume the topic would mostly be that.

My online check in went fine, now I'm just impatient for FP+. Really have no opinion either way on the MB.

MB allows you to have "everything" handy. No digging out a key card, tickets, etc. plus people can use it as a keepsake.

Three must be the magic number lol as I poked around tonight and reading your post decided I will give it one more shot after two more failures and sure enough it sent me to the last page to accept the terms and conditions and when it tried to process page three it gave me the goofy error again but now it states that I can "modify" check in on MDE I will take that at this point, especially since it actually sent me a text message on my phone if I wanted to accept the "Room Update" service so it must have gone through some computer somewhere.

As for the checking in early and its benefits yea 60 days is early but hey it's something that can be checked off the list and Mymagic+ or not I really recommend checking in online before you go as having everything ready in the folder for you (keys printed/credit card linked to room allready) and our track record is 4 out of 5 times now checking in before noon and having a room to go to because they knew when I was coming by checking in online is a great benefit IMO

I agree 100%. I just felt your statement "All December guests, as of now, should receive magic bands for their stay. It's just a matter of when." needed the clarification that no official word has been communicated. Anyone not up on the latest might assume your statement implied there was something official backing it.

As far as what leads me to believe testing would be cancelled? Nothing, I didn't say that. I said, given no official communication from Disney, that cancelling testing is possible but that it was very unlikely, unless, of course, it fully rolls out in December!
