Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

Used mydisneyreservation.com and it worked. Got the email confirmation and now MDE says "Modify Check-In" where it said "Online Check-In Available."

We check in at AoA on the 2nd and have made fp reservations for our whole trip. We have annual passes and we have magic bands from our trip in 8 days.

That makes sense. You have access due to your AP. I don't think anyone making a first trip with regular passes beginning in Dec has been given actual access to FP+.

I tried the online check in for our Nov 30th date but got the Goofy error. So I went to mydisneyreservation.com and it worked. But I think the room options might have been different than they are when using the MDE website for online check in. My options were first floor, near transportation, or pack 'n play, none of which I want.

I did our check in thru MDE, and had the same choices. No choice of building etc.

Exactly. THAT is why you can make FP+, not because they opened up December. I can make FP+ reservations up until December 4th as of today, which is 60 days out I believe. But I have bands already from my trip at the end of the month and an AP as well.

No one checking in December 1st or after is able to get magic bands and make FP+ yet. Unless like us, they've made a prior trip and have them now.

We have a Nov 30 check in at BCV and have been able to customize our bands since last week or so. We are able to customize and change through Oct 31st and then they will mail out.

Our check in date is the same as yours and like you, this has been our experience as well.

In the unnoficial guide they recommend sending them a fax... Sending faxes is sooooo last century that I can't believe they recommend that, but they claim is more effective even now... I guess I'll give it a try, since I am in Standard View Discounted room at AKL and my target is a complimentary upgrade to a pool or savannah view close to the lobby, hehe

Or you can request a "people pen" view! You know, the savanna views that were reclassified as standard views. We had one in January and loved it!

I was able to check in... however, I am not able to or (figure out) how to request fastpass or get magic bands... I don't know what I am doing wrong? I was wondering if your trip had to be paid in full in order to do this? My trip is 3/4 of the way paid off and we check in on Dec 1st staying at Pops... 45 day on Oct 17 paying the balance on tomorrow...

You're not doing anything wrong. Unless you stayed in WDW in the last month or 2 and had MB's, it just hasn't opened up yet for December check ins. It's not relevant if you have paid in full or not.

Many of us on the November thread were also having issues with check in via MDE but had no trouble with the above address.

I can't get this one to work for me either. When I try to click that drop down arrow to select my resort, nothing happens.

On line check in screen. Click first where you made you reservation and will take to another screen. I'm a dvc member so that is what I click first.
