Anyone here try the Crest Night Effects?

I read a good report about it, and since it was on sale, I bought it.

Did the first application last night. It's the kind you paint on your "smiling teeth."

I looked at it in the drugstore last night, but didn't buy it. I'd be curious to hear what you think of it after a few days, Blondie.

This is the first over the counter attempt at whitening/brightening my teeth. I never tried the strip things, read too many negative opinions about them.

This one is so easy to use. It only cost $12.99, so if it doesn't work, I won't feel too badly!

Any maintenance that can be done while I'm sleeping...sounds good to me!!

I tried this right after it came out. It was okay for about the first week. Then it got to where I couldn't stand it in my mouth. I didn't finish the last few days of it so I can't tell you if it really whitens like it should or not. On the other hand, I have also used the Crest White Strips. They have worked. They really aren't that bad. My dentist even noticed. He asked what I had been using to whiten my teeth. I told him and he was very interested in how you use them. By the way, he also told me that you can get the same stuff that he uses for whitening at Sally Beauty Supply. He said that the teeth trays were kind of cheesy but the stuff you use in them was exactly the same for about a tenth of the price he has to charge. It cost about $35 according to him.

Thinkerbell, I'm curious as to what you couldn't stand, the feeling of it on your teeth, or the sensitivity?

I'm noticing that my gums are a little sensitive around the teeth that I applied it to.

i'm interested to hear what you think of it too blondie. i have very sensitive teeth so i've been afraid to try anything.

my teeth are very yellow from years of drinking iced tea.

My teeth did get a little sensitive but not bad and not for very long. The part that started getting to me was the way it felt. I would wake up in the night and could feel it on my teeth and it just felt yucky. It may not be that way for you.

Caity, I am a BIG tea drinker also. I teach third grade and a child told me that my teeth were yellow(whatever comes up comes out at that age). That is why I started using the whiteners. I had another one this year to tell me that my hair was turning gray. I ran out and got some hair color. Now, if one would just tell me that I'm too fat maybe I could get motivated to lose these extra pounds.
