Has anyone tried Shula's steakhouse at the Swan hotel?

What were your thoughts on this restaurant? I understand it is somewhat expensive but is it worth it?

Thanks All!

I haven't tried the Shula's in Disney but I have eaten at the one in Portland a few times now and it's soooo good! I wouldn't think they are too different :)

We went there when we were at a conference and one of our co-workers was celebrating his 50th bday. Anyway, everything about this place was great! The food was phenomenal, the steaks, the sides and the wine plus the service was top notch.

Not at Swan, but I have been to a Shula's in New Orleans and I thought it was pretty good. I can't imagine that one Shula's would be that much different from another.

If you like steak, it's a good one and worth the $$$$. I'd take Morton's or Ruth's Cris over Shulas for steak, but I don't think you would be disappointed.

Shula's is very good. I have never been to the one at Disney. The Menu is on a football. It is pricey, but I thought it was worth it. I would definitely go again.

We ate at Shula's before and LOVED it. DH is a meat eater and loves a good steak, so we had to try it. I think for the two of us we paid close to $150, but I thought it was worth it. I had the NY Strip, don't remember what DH had, we each had the twice baked potato, and a chocolate souffle for two. IMHO, definately better than Yachtman.

We love Shula's. We have eaten there a few times at the Dolphin and have found it to be great!!

We ate there on our last trip to Disney and loved it. It's well worth the price. Best steak we ever had!

I have eaten at a couple of them, but not that specific one. The one in Key West is phenomenal! In fact, that's where we had our wedding reception.

It is an excellent steakhouse. The food and service are wonderful. The food is, however, very pricey and the wine list even more so.

1) We do Shula's several times per year.
2) It is one of only five TS-eateries we patronize at WDW.
3) And, only two of them are Disney-owned.

Wow! Great responses here! Not one negative comment about Shula's. I'm sure they don't offer any annual pass, or Florida resident discounts do they? LOL!

Maybe I'm going to have to splurge and go. Someone said it was better than the Yachtman's steakhouse at Disney. That's good to know.

No discounts at all :sad1: but like everyone has said, the food, service and wine list is wonderful! It usually runs DH and I around $275 with a bottle of wine at dinner.

don't care how much the bill comes to this place is awesome. it's worth every penny. the servers are great and food is even better. it's a definate must when we go now.
