We got a Pomeranian from the local shelter in mid Sept. 
Tazz is such a bundle of fur right now, he looks more like a teddy bear than a dog! 
We have trimmed his hair 3 times since we got him, he was so furry, you couldn't get a brush through his coat! I know they don't shed like normal dogs do (from what I understand, the hair comes out in clumps, not strand at a time). Shouldn't he of already started to shed at this point?!! I brush him daily and might get enough of the white undercoat to cover the brush in a thin layer but not enough to really make a difference. With the warm weather coming soon, I know his thick coat is really going to be uncomfortable for him. 
Has you Pom started shedding yet or is Tazz just way behind schedule???
PS - Have you ever seen the commercial where the whole family mistakenly fed "Muffin" and this big fat dog comes waddling out? THAT'S what Tazz looks like at this point - except he's all fur!!
