Anyone here like Mallomars? Or what is your favorite store bought cookie!

They are 3 small layers, (green, yellow and pink/red) with jelly inbetween. My Mom said she bought them in the cookie aisle this last time, they were already prepackaged.

We also love the black and whites. Publix makes them here but they are pretty expensive. I've found a deli that makes mini ones so we buy those when in that area.

My definition of store bought is anything that doesn't come out of my oven....so therefore Girl Scout cookies count. I also LOVE the Thin Mint cookies frozen. When I can get them I buy lots of extra boxes and keep them in the freezer. This way I can enjoy them all year around.

I also love Mint Milanos, and the Archway gingerbread men that you can only get at Christmas.

And Fig Newtons.............

LOL!!! Frozen Thin Mints!!!! I bought several boxes this last time around promising myself to put them in the freezer to save them for later in the year. Well, little did I know that they are actually BETTER when they're frozen. Needless to say, I didn't save them for later.

I've actually tried Malomars once and they were good!!! I loved the dark chocolate!!!! I don't usually buy cookies from the store though. I think homemade cookies are the best.

I agree, homemade cookies are the best and I do bake whenever I can. I do a large ( several thousand cookies ) baking around the holidays and give them as gifts. My friends at work start hinting in October, asking for certain kinds. Last year I was asked to make some for one of my co-workers who offered to pay me for them. Before I knew it everybody else wanted some too. Now, when I have time I have a closet cookie business. It is difficult for me in the summer when the kitchen gets so hot. I am one of the few people here in NYC who do not have an air conditioner. The cookies just don't bake the same when it is hot and humid.

I love Milano cookies. My favorite are the dark chocoate/raspberry, but I'll take any.

I never knew that about Mallomars! They are my mom's favorite and we were looking for them about a month ago and thought the store just didn't stock them anymore.

Almost any type of Peak Frean cookies are my favourite and Chrisites Arrowroot cookies.
