We're upgrading the pop-up (just had our 6th child and even with our Niagara 26' we're a bit tight). Really excited about getting a TT and it's mind boggling the information that's out there. Anyone here have one? It's the White Hawk line, so even if you have a different WH model I'd love to hear from you! We're towing with a 15 passenger Chevy Express 3500 so no worries about that. Mostly looking for how it worked for you, how fit and finish were and how the sleeping space is (especially if you have a few kids!)

That said, we're super excited to get down to FW again! 2.5 months to go! :)

Don't have that model. But we are big Jayco fans. Enjoy!

Wonderful - I'll check that out too! There are so many RV forums that it's a bit overwhelming to know where to go! :)

With 6 kids you might want to look into the models that 1 1/2 to 2 bathrooms. That's a feature that might come in handy sometime. :lmao: RV.net is always a wonderful site and RV Itch is another good you might want to look into. RV shows are always a good place to window shop.

Thanks - I'll check them out too! After all that we ended up with a Bullet 294BHS. The Jayco dealer pretty much wrote us off telling us we couldn't afford it (quite nastily and haughtily) because when we had first started looking we had mentioned a number that we ideally would have liked to have stayed at. Of course then you start getting a real feel for where you'd be price wise and were comfortable upping that number to what they were asking. But then he pretty much told us off and insulted us and obviously we aren't going back there. Went to another local dealer that had a 2013 bullet (my parents had bought and sold with them before and we were very comfortable with them - the other dealer was closer to our home, which is why we were going to go with them). He gave us a great deal and we pick it up on Friday. Crazy how things change!

We originally looked at that 31 footer and were actually down to it and a Jayco 32BHDS. We went with the 32BHDS for the extra room for the girls, and a large outdoor kitchen so I could cook and not smell the whole camper up. It is heavier, but we pull with a F250. I have heard good things about the bullets, so I don't think you will be disappointed. Sorry to hear about your dealer experience, I can relate. The hometown dealer here had the 31 footer that you were looking at, but not the 32BHDS. The second dealer had the 32BHDS, but not the White Hawk. I decided to go to each dealer, look at each one, then see what each was willing to do. The hometown dealer commented that "Fine, but if you buy from the other guy, I will not do your warranty work. So you can haul it back to him". People like this don't get my business. The second dealer was beyond reasonable, and gave us a "deal that the hometown guy couldn't possibly match".

You'll love it, just get used to it before you take off on any long voyages. Good camping to ya...

It's kind of crazy isn't it? I don't want to play games - just tell us what our trade is worth and what the price of the trailer is. The first guy said that our trade was worth 16k if we bought this one trailer, so we assumed that that's what they would give us on any trailer in that price range, but when we looked at the 31dslb he changed his tune and said he'd give us 5k for it. What?! I really hate those kind of games. And how can they refuse warranty work? That definitely sounds like an awful dealer so I'm glad you didn't go through him!

Thankfully my DH is used to towing (we have had a few boats and he grew up towing trailers of all sizes) so I'm hoping this will be much the same. We're getting the stabilizer hitch put on it, which hopefully will help. And we'll have 2 months of camping around here before our big trip so that will get some of the kinks out. I'm so excited to have hanging space and upper cabinets.

We had booked a premium site (last time got a preferred site but the sand with little kids wasn't a good combination - we were cleaning out the pop-up to bring it up for trade in and there's still sand in the corners!) So that should give us plenty of room to back it in and such. It's going to be a great trip!
