Well I am unable to attend the girls only meet in NOV so a friend of mine and myself, both from here in the great white north, lol, are going to go down to DW Sept 25-Oct 1st. That is the tentative plan for now. Just wondering if any of my fellow DISers will be down there then?
In the 50+ times I have been to DW, it will be the first time without my sons, who are young men actually now,lol..and the first time I will be going to the Halloween party and the Food and Wine Festival, so 2 new experiences for me.
Anyone else going to be down there then?

Absolutley...if you pick me up as you go by...:rotfl2: :lmao: :thumbsup2

I can get real cheap airfare out of TC so this time she and I will be flying! I'm going to treat myself that time, lol.
When I take the 3 teenagers in March, we are driving, but that's ok, road trips are part of the fun of our annual Spring break trips.

We will be having the Second Annual NFFC World Convention September 28 thru Oct 1. The only difficulty is we don't have a firm price from the hotel yet.

Theres a good chance that I will be there at least for a day trip.....keep me in mind as it gets closer, I usually book several days during Oct but make several day trips depending on the bands at the F&W festival!

My mom and I will be down there Sept 29th-Oct 7th. I was able to book the Bounce Back program when I was there in Dec, so we'll be getting free dining again (couldn't resist another trip).

Can you beat the $33 roundtrip I got in December?

Nope that's real cheap, I like to fly out of TVC, not have to drive 4 hours to DTW. Have flown out of GRR but it's always early morning and we end up staying the night before in a hotel.
I know SONG has cheap airfare out of DTW, have you flown with them? Are they ok?

Yea it was great...they are in the old terminal at DTW...nobody in the terminal..the flights were all on time...and very easy...and the planes were brand new...so yea..it was great

Well cool, she and I will fly out of TVC so it will be easier on me, the whole idea is to be a woman, not a mom, on this girls only trip in SEPT,lol. And that means spoiling myself a bit.

I'd love to find a way to do this too! It's my birthday on the 29th and I haven't done WDW as an adult in many, many years... How fun would it be to spend my birthday in WDW? Hmmmmm...... :cool1:

Either way HAVE FUN AS A WOMAN... I know what it's like to be a Mom or a Boss 99% of the time!

Well as of now my friend is being wishy washy as to whether she wants to go, so not sure what I'm going to do.
I plan to go somehow, you should go, I celebrated my birthday last year in Orlando, not Disney that was days later, but at Sea World, either way, was cool to do something different for my birthday.
I got to pet dolphins on my birthday, I'm a dolphin lover and so it was very cool.
Someday, going to go to Discovery Cove and swim with them.
Anywho, let me know if you make it down there, we can celebrate your birthday Disney style!
