Anyone here get married in Vegas?

My first marriage, I had a wedding at Excalibur. I've shredded all of the photos. :)

We liked the Viva Las Vegas wedding chappel, we had the elvis cereomony.

We did this too! (For our 10th anniversary "re-wedding" though.) We had already "been there, done that" with the big 300-guest church wedding for our first wedding.

Our package only included the actual wedding and the photos. Since it was only about 10 of us in the party, for dinner we went to Smith & Wollensky and had dinner at the private Chef's table. It was pretty cool! They would have a room to fit your needs, but I am unsure of the expense: http://www.smithandwollensky.com/Loc-LasVegas-Events.asp )

My brother-in-law and his wife got married in Vegas at Ballys. It was a very nice ceremony and not too expensive. They did not have a traditional reception either. We just all hung out together afterward. I think they spent no more than $500. They stayed at Treasure Island but the wedding was at Ballys in the chapel.

Have fun!

We got married at the MGM Chapel 10 years ago. It was just the 2 of us, we had flowers, musci, pictures and video. After we went for a really nice dinner and saw a show.

DH just surprised me with trip to Vegas and we renewed our vows, it was so nice.

I didn't but I always thought it would be very romantic to do....I also think it would be hysterical to get married by an Elvis impersonator :rotfl2:

Did your weddings feel rushed? We don't want a long ceremony, but we don't want to feel like cattle either. :)

My mom and my brother both got married at the Monte Carlo...at different times...the weddings were both beautiful. I had a suite for my mother to have cake and drinks...the hotel set it up very nicely. My brother and his wife had a dinner at the Palm restaurant in Caesars Palace...it was very nice as well. My best friend got married at Paris...it was not my favorite by far....nothing wrong with it...just no wow factor.

We didn't feel rushed at all - at our wedding 10 years ago or our vow renewal ceramony.

I'm another happy "Viva Las Vegas 10th anniversary re-wedding by Elvis" customer. (Note - not an Elvis impersonator, but Elvis himself - at least that's what they told us :) ). They were fantastic to work with on the phone with preplanning, and went above and beyond with the ceremony. They do everything from theme weddings, to very formal affairs. Highly recommend.
