I'm Canadian, so I'm used to a $500 roundtrip flight as the norm. However, we're overnighting in Denver and I will need to get from DEN to MCO and looking at Southwest.

Right now for March 29/13 (which is Good Friday if that matters) I'm getting a one-way price of $220.

To me this looks pretty good... but can anyone tell me if this IS good or should I wait for it to go lower?

Southwest JUST opened that date yesterday so am I jumping too soon?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks... that's very handy! Looks like Southwest is clearly ahead for a non-stop one-way price right now. Wondering if one way for $220 is on average a good fare from Denver to Orlando in general?

It isn't bad, but you are talking about $440. of course, this is pretty good since you get no bag fees (as you would on the other two) nor change fees if needed.

I think $440 is a good mid-range out of DEN.

Of course, you could wait and see what Bing travel website comes up with. At 180 days out, their fare tracker will be available and give a recommendation to buy/wait.

At first I thought you paid $220 for round trip but realized that is one-way. I go every year from Denver and usually pay less than $300 round trip. Have you checked Frontier? Remember you would need to upgrade to classic (I believe it's called) in order to get the 2 checked bags like Southwest but I paid only $110 for my trip in December :)

Thanks so much guys. I think I'll wait a bit yet - at least until 180 days out.

Is Good Friday traditionally a busy travel day there or do most people go out earlier in the week?
