Anyone here ever do a Beth Moore Bible study?

I just returned from Lexington, KY from seeing Beth Moore and Living Proof ministries. It was an awesome even with like 20,000 women (and a few men) in Rupp Arena. She is coming to Knoxville next year so I will be sure and attend that one too.

So, has anyone on the DIS ever done a study of hers or heard her speak in person?

I have heard her speak and done several of her studies. She does an awesome job and her love for the Lord is quite evident. Hope you enjoyed yourself!

No, I have not. But I have heard great things about her studies and events. She will be at The Cove in Asheville next year and a few ladies at work have already made reservations. I'm still trying to decide if I want to go to that one.

chell, seriously think about going. It was great! Kewz1 is right. Her love for God is so evident and powerful. It certainly taught me a lot of things in two days! I love her Bible Studies. No one makes you dig through the Bible like Beth does. No one goes back to the Hebrew so you can really see what scripture tells us. I really believe we are blessed to be able to do her studies. I think she is definitely doing the Lord's work and is meant for this specific time in theworld!

I have and just loved it. I learned so much. It would be wonderful to hear her in person!

I have never done a study by her, but have read quite a few of her one page devotionals, in my daily devotionals. I use Tapestry and really enjoy the things she has written. I would be interested in going to one if it was local.

Looks like I might go ahead and book it on Monday since the lodging is already full for that seminar. But that's okay since I would not need lodging anyway.

Yes, I have done several Beth Moore studies and they are awesome!!! Its always a huge event when our church does one and we have women from other churchs that join in! Last year we didn't go to the Women In Faith conference and went to see Beth Moore instead. (except me I had to work )

Jason, where did you see her? Was it in a setting as large as Rupp Arena or was it in a smaller setting?

A few years ago I used to do tech support for subscribers who were having trouble using the online course. I haven't actually taken the online course but had the opportunity to view some of the study- seems like a great program.

I have heard her speak and she is great. She is such a wonderful and kind person. Whenever she comes to my church, all the seats are taken! And the bible study class is always full.
