anyone here do WW without meetings or online?

Morning everyone!
Okay so I finally got around to weighing myself (I didn't get to on monday) I'm down 2 lbs. It's a start.
So last night I ended up having a cup of tomato soup 4pts. and I added some shredded chese 3pts. Total= 7pts.

For breakfast i'm having my usual yogurt (2pts) and my coffee but I added some creamer (2pts) Total= 4pts.

And for lunch a co-worker is making ruben sandwiches. So I'll let ya all know what the points for that ended up being.

Good Morning Ladies!

PaulDavid'smom ~ Congratulations on the 2lb. loss, that is great! :thumbsup2

Kim ~ Thanks for bumping that thread, I'm going to go look at it when I get home from work tonight! :goodvibes

Well, yesterday proved to be a challenging one for me. It was my first day working in the back since I've been back from vacation and I did not do well with it. Working in the front at a restaurant, not so bad, you can't really get to the back and snack on the food that's there. Working in the back is a completely different story. Yesterday was "portion" day so after the cooks are done portioning out different things for the week whatever is left over they cook it and everyone can have some. Yesterday I had 2 pieces of fried squach, a few pieces of fried okra and probably 10 french fries and dipped it all in the most fattening ranch dressing ever. If I had not taken the first bite I would have been fine but the second I gave in and ate the first thing I couldn't stop. I had a salad with me but did I eat it? No, of course not. I have got to be more careful and exercise more willpower. When I work in the back from now on if I am not busy with my job then I need to go up front where there is no temptation. The good news is that I didn't eat anywhere near what I thought I would for dinner but I still feel disappointed with my day so I just need to learn and try harder next time.

I'm working a double shift today and have to get going so I'll report my meals when I get home tonight.

Hope you all have a great day! :hippie:

Princess MIchelle, Count them as your flex and keep doing as before! Your are on the right road and it was just a small bump!!
Onward and Downward!!!!!!!!!!!

PaulDavid's MOM CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cheer2:

Today I will be busy running to the dentist and school drop off so I know my DD will want to stop at MCDonalds. I plan on getting just a yougurt though. Here is hoping I can stick to it!!! And not steal a few fries!!!:rotfl:

 I completely understand where you are coming from! I too work in a food related job - except that I am one of those COOKS who makes all that yummy food! I really try hard to stick to my personal rule which is "if I didn't BRING the food with me to work, I don't eat it". Makes it very difficult most days. And people look at me weird when I pull my lunch from home out of the fridge. I'm not sure that they think it's a good sign that a cook won't even eat the food that they've prepared :lmao: makes them wonder if it's any good!:rolleyes1

You've identified the problem and came up with a solution. Good work! I'm rooting for you - I know you can beat this! :cheer2:

Another snow day today... and DS is sick. I guess it's a good thing we were home anyway.

Today has not been as successful as yesterday.
B: yogurt - 2pts.
L: roast beef wrap with dill pickles - 4 pts. /carrots and salsa - 0 pts. - very filling lunch if anyone is interested
Snack: WW carrot cake - 1pt.

(This is where I messed up)...My mom came by and brought some snacks that she made for the kids. I couldn't resist and had to have one. I figure I had about 5 pts.
So I've had 12pts. today. That leaves 8 pts. for the rest of the day. I don't know what I'm having for supper. DH is working late. I haven't done my workout yet and I haven't had as much water as I should.
Yesterday I bought a new bathroom scale and it is weighing DH and I at two lbs. heavier than our other one. Maybe that's why I don't feel like I'm having a very good day. I didn't like what I saw on the scale.
I haven't given up on the workout for today. The day isn't over yet.
And as the great Scarlett O'Hara says: "Tomorrow is another day."

MOm0299, Tomorrow is another day! But I don't think you are doing too bad!!
Hang in there!!!:yay:

Hi Ladies!

I'm sorry I didn't get back here yesterday. I worked a double shift at work yesterday and I was just tired when I got home.

Thank you for you support for my rough day. AKASnowWhite ~ Thanks for feeling my pain! LOL I only eat at work when I work a double shift, which is only once a week. Yesterday was my first one in a few months and I didn't do so well. I already planned what I would have, we have a wonderful salad bar so I was going to have that and a side of pulled pork to go with it. Sooo, I had that but then I also had 2 pieces of garlic bread and a bowl of cream of potato soup to go along with it. Then if that wasn't bad enough I ate a sandwich when I got home last night. I don't know what my points were yesterday, way over I'm sure because I had 3 things that I hadn't added in and I was already at my 28 point limit before that.

So, today I am trying to undereat a little bit. I've only had 22 points so far and hopefully won't feel the need to eat anything else tonight.

Breakfast today was 2 slices turkey bacon = 2pts. 1 pancake w/lite syrup = 1pt. and 1 cup of pineapple chunks = 2pts. for a total of 5pts.

Lunch was 1 string cheese = 2pts. 1 unsweetened applesauce cup = 1pt. and 1 container of yogurt = 3pts. for a total of 6pts.

Dinner is WW baked ziti = 6pts. and a caesar salad = 5pts. for a total of 11pts.

I think one of my problems is it's almost that TOM and when it comes around I feel like I'm starving no matter how much I eat. I need to make sure I have a good stockpile of zero point foods for next month.

The weekend is here now and I don't have to work. Brian and I are going shopping in the morning and possibly might go out to lunch so I have to make sure that wherever we go I make good choices. I can do it, just have to be strong and stay focused on my goals.

I hope you all are doing good today!

Hi ladies!

Well, today was the first day I didn't exercise since Jan. 1st. :guilty: I did much better with my water intake. :) I had yogurt for breakfast (2pts), Lean Cuisine panini (7 pts) and SF jello (0 pts) for lunch and a 1 pt. WW carrot cake for a snack. DH wanted to go out to dinner so off we went. I tried to be good, but it was sooooo hard. I had a salad with oil and vinegar dressing. For my side I chose steamed veggies instead of mashed potatoes and for my main dish I had steak medallions and shrimp. I know that wasn't good.
One thing that Weight Watchers does for me is really make me think about what I eat. I keep a notebook of everything I eat everyday along with their points. I also record my workouts and my weigh-ins each week. I'm sure this is nothing new for you all, but I just thought we could all share some things that help us along the way. I also make sure I have plenty of sugar-free jell-o made up and in the fridge. I found a great flavoring called True Lime and True Lemon. It doesn't have any sugar and is all natural. It comes in individual packets for bottles of water. It adds just enough flavor to water so I don't get bored drinking it.

Can't wait to hear from everyone and see how you are doing!:grouphug:

Well, yesterday was my official weigh-in, so today was my first full day back on the WW plan. I did well, tracking everything, weighing and measuring every last morsel (still the first day....so the novelty hasn't worn off yet! ;) ) I went to a longeberger basket party tonight and didn't leave the sofa! Cheesecake was calling me from across the room, but I didn't answer! :thumbsup2 Now I'm home, with a housefull of teenagers watching movies and doing what teenagers do best.....SNACKING! popcorn:: So...I'm avoiding them too. :rolleyes1 Now for the hard part....keeping up the momentum!

Here's to a healthy weekend everyone! :goodvibes

Hi all~ I know it's been a few days since I was here. Between work, packing and general tiredness.... I haven[t been keeping up with much of anything DIS. My TM time has been suffering too.....

I was good at diner the other night. I had a great big platter thing but brought the shrimp home to DH who loves both fried and scampi. The lobster and crab legs weren't too bad points wise and I had the broccolli. (I'm craving it these days.) I did have dessert though which took me over my points for the day...... I had 2 days this week when I had less than the 20 I'm allowed so I figure the 2 days I went over balanced it out a bit. (I didn't do it on purpose, I just wasn't hungry so I didn't force myself to eat just to make my points.)

I weighed in for my other group yesterday and I'm down more so I'm :jumping: about Monday. I hope I'm going to make my 5 lb goal before we leave on Tues so I don't feel too gulty about indulging while were in WDW. If I gain a lb or two while I'm gone, I still have 10 days to loose it again before the end of the month.

have a good weeked ladies. I know these next two days are the worst of the week for most of us. We can do it! It's just 48 hours and we can be strong and resist those urges. (I'm not blowing smoke here, I resisted the cheddar bay biscuits at RL this week. I love them but they're 4 pts EACH!)

Its been a while since I've posted here - haven't really had much news. Just plugging away - staying within my points. Only exercised once - DH gone on business and I usually exercise when hes home to watch the kiddos so I can crank the cd player :goodvibes and not worry about the kiddos for 45 minutes or so. He came home late last night so I'll be getting on the tm hopefully soon.

I think I have lost a little this week - not much but every little bit helps. Good luck to all this weekend. Having weigh in on Monday actually motivates me to be good or at least as good as possible  . Take care.

Joanne

My goal this week is to stay away from the junk in the afternoon.
I had to go grocery shopping today and found some great snacks to help just in case!

I have been busy today so I have only had a salad for lunch. And I have only drank 24 oz of water.

Onward and Downward ladies~~

I did not do as well this week as last. I lost 1.5 lbs. this week as opposed to 4 lbs. last week. I do know what I did differently so I can correct it. At least I had a loss. I look forward to seeing the rest of your weigh-ins. I'm sure we had some great losses this week!

Just weighed in - lost 2.5 lbs. so with 2 lbs lost last week I've lost a total of 4.5 lbs since we started. I think that makes 13.5lbs until goal. Happy weigh ins ladies - whether up or down we're on the right track to a healthier body.

Joanne

I lost 1.5 lbs. Not as much as I would have liked but I am happy to see a loss!!
Way to go on the losses ladies!!!
