anyone here do WW without meetings or online?

Hey everyone! Just found this thread today and i'm soooo Happy!
I am starting WW again today. I did it a few years back and lost 20 lbs. Unfortuantly over time I have gained it all back. I got all the info from my co-worker so no meetings or online for me.
I am 5'4" and weigh 170 lbs. My goal is to lose 35-40 lbs. since that is what I weighed before having my son who will be 5 years old in a few weeks. I am not sure if I will be able to get that low, but I sure do wanna try. My motovation is our WDW trip we are planning for May 2008!

I am starting today. I returned to work after being off since December 23rd, so I waited until today since I would be back in my routine and have a little more structure. I absolutely did not like what I saw on the scale today! I plan on weighing 3x a week, so will probably weigh again on Thursday. I hope today's number was partly due to alot of food late in the day yesterday and some water retention. I'm looking to lose somewhere around 40-50 lbs.

So far today I've had an Oatmeal-to-Go bar for breakfast, Campbell's Select Minestrone soup for lunch and an apple for mid-afternoon snack. Don't really know what I'll be having for dinner yet. I've got to work on that. I have found that I do better when I plan ahead. I do plan on getting on the treadmill tonight also.

Good luck to everyone! Maybe this will be the year . . .

I would be willing to post pictures. I don't really have any of myself since I am the one who takes all the pictures :) I will take my camera to work tomorrow and have a coworker take a picture to post on here.

I've done ok the last 2 days on WW - I've used 10 of my flex points so far - Ugghhh! Its so hard after the holidays to get rid of the sweet tooth. All day long I was looking for a little chocolate. I guess each day it'll get better.

I really don't have any pics of myself - maybe DH will take one and then I'll see if I can get it on the computer. I'm really technologically challenged!

I had WW lasagna w/meat sauce for lunch. I had some leftover garlic bread w/it too - not the best choice but I love garlic bread! Dinner was easy a Dunkin Donuts coffee - not a good choice either - I just didn't feel like eating. DH has the flu and I'm hoping I don't get it! I usually make better choices but I just didn't have the energy today. Hope tomorrow is better!:)

I lost 20 lbs with WW after my 3rd dd geting ready for a trip to vegas with DH. But I have since put it back on.

I only went to WW the first 2 weeks too get all the info and the serving spoons.

I wanted to get that stuff back out by the 2nd so I am posting here on wish for the motivation to get back in the groove. :goodvibes

Going back to obsessing about what to eat...

Hi Everyone
I AM JUMPING IN, I am Denise, will be 32 in March:eek: I weighed in today and I am down from the beginning of December so thats good BUT I STILL HATE THE NUMBER I SEE:guilty: I am matron of honor in a wedding October 19, then we leave for Disney Ocotber 28  :cool1:  :cool1: My biggest motivation is too get healthy but I also want to look good in the wedding and not hate pics that are taken at my Happy Place, DISNEY!!!!! I have tried EVERY DIET POSSIBLE. I was going to join Weight Watchers today but I decided to try and pay myself and see how that works. I figure I will pay myself the $14.00 each week I lose that way when I am SKINNY;) I can buy some new clothes.

I have always been overweight, but the past 2 years I was in Nursing school and I am HUGE STRESS EATER. I am now a nurse and I work 7p-7:30a so I have to figure out how to manage my points. Last night I wrote what my plan for today is and I did change it a bit so I have to go recalculate.

Would anyone be interested in writing what they eat daily with points beside it? I get bored of the same stuff, maybe to see what others are eating can help us add variety????

I look forward to be a "LOSER" with all of you

I think it is a great idea to [ost what we eat and the points. It' still early in the morning here and I haven't had breakfast yet.
Need to get the water bottle filled.
I am going to have a WW frozen lunch for 6 pts so I will work around that.
Have a great loosing day today ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2

I have used 7 points so far today. Breakfast was a slimfast for 3 points. Lunch was a sandwich and chips for 4 points. Dill pickle was free! Dinner will be chicken 3 points, brocolli free, and maybe an ice cream for another 1 point. Grand total for today 10 points!! I am supposed to eat 21 points but just can't see eating that much food. Of course I could eat the rest up in ice cream! LOL!

Water check!!
It's 10:30 a.m. here and I have 24 oz down. I am going to go refill.
Come on ladies. Get your water in!:cool1:

Add me to the list of not doing WW officially! I have lost weight doing this in the past and know I cn do it again!

Anybody have the core list that they would like to share? Also since it has been awhile...I think I may need a review of points....280something...how many points?

TIA!!

Good luck everybody! I know this can be so hard!!!

:grouphug:

Okay rkandmjsmommy...I turned 35 last month, so I don't want to see that  from you anymore. Birthdays never bothered me until this one. The whole day I just felt so :scared:. Wanna switch? :lmao:

Don't shoot, but I haven't written down my food points for the past two days. We're still settling in from spending 10 days at my parents', and I have no clue where my WW stuff is. Here's my beginning, though. I'm uncovering my journal and points guide before I head off to bed tonight!

B--Special K and 2% milk--3 pts.
L--WW Chicken Enchiladas, Baked Tostitos and homemade salsa--8 pts.
D--Lowfat grilled cheese sandwich and lots of tomato soup--6 pts.

I've still got points to burn, but I ate so much on New Year's Eve that I feel guilty eating when I'm not hungry...and today I'm not. Please remind me of this tomorrow when I'm starving!

Thanks for the photos, everyone. I like being able to put a face with a name. I'll have to dig through my scrapbooking and see if I can find a semi-not-horrific-looking photo of myself. I, too, am the family photographer, but I plan on changing that effective immediately.

Added motivation? We just rescheduled our December vacation to October, so I don't have any messing around time with my plan to be in shape by the end of August. I want to be well into maintenance by the time I pack my bags! :cool1:

Okay I had my coworker take some horrid pictures of me. Yikes. But hopefully they will get better with time! Like I said before, I am only 5'4" and weigh 170 lbs. My goal is to lose 35-40 lbs. to get back to my pre-baby weight.

Anybody else considering getting the new weight watchers program that was released on the 1st? I thought I would remember most of the tips and points from WW online but I feel like I am floundering:confused3 .
But I have put down 48 oz of water and it is only 3:45!
Note to self: don't drink so much water before going shopping with kids~:lmao:

Come on ladies! Post those pics!!!!!!!!

I don't know if I can find a picture of myself, but I'll try.

I've done great for three days....one day at a time.....

I haven't kept track of how much water I've been drinking, but I drink constantly so I know I'm getting enough.

Keep up the good work everyone!:grouphug:

Hi ladies! I did really well today. I was tired and had a bad headache though so I took a long nap after I got home from work. I still don't feel very good so I'm probably not going to get on the TM.

I can't remember if I posted yesterday or not, I went shopping after work and was gone for 4 hours. I don't count it in my exercise total though since I wasn't walking fast or focusing on exercise. I resisted the coffees and cookies and even the heard candies that were on clearance @ Bath and Body Works.

Food and points today:
1/2 c WW cereal 1pt
1/2 c skim milk 1 pt
Sandwich with 2 slices WW bread, 1 oz lean ham, fat free dressing, leaf lettuce and 1 slice tomato 2.5 pts
1/3 c fat free cottage cheese 1 pt
Slim Fast snack bar 3 pts (should of had my fruit instead....I was at work and in a hurry though)
Chefs Salad ?? pts.... DH ordered it while I was asleep. It had 2 kinds of cheese, ham, pepperoni, olives, onions and tomatos on it. It was good and I ate it all but since I wasn't feeling well to begin with this didn'nt help much.

Before dinner: 8.5 pts I hope I didn't blow it too badly with the salad. I drank 3 liters of water today (before the headaches started.)

I talked to a co-worker today who does WW, she's gong to look for n extra points slider or let me borrow hers for a few days so I can calculate points for things I can't find on dwlz.

Has anyone else tried the wal-mart no sugar added or sweetened with splenda fruit? I like it and it's low in calories.
