I have really been trying to be good with the Atkins, and walking, but after the initial weight loss of 7 lbs, I'm going no where in a hurry.

I do have a thyroid condition, called Hashimoto's Thyroiditus which causes an underactive/inactive thyroid, and I am on medication for it. But I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? How do you get over the hump?

I am hypothryroid (synthroid .15) and have stalled after 2 weeks on induction. I have been staying on induction and the scale is starting to move again after about 5 days.

Stick with it and you should start loosing again.

I have hypothyroidism.

My Dr said that for me, Atkins would be the absolute worst diet I can do - the strict no carbs would throw my metabolism into far too much of a curve. You might want to talk to your dr about a diet he/she might recommend. Or step up or change your exercise routine.

I'm on a variation of the zone and have combined that with exercise.
I have been doing well. I backslid big time for a few months because of a lot of stress in my life but I am back on track and am starting to notice a difference

This website was a huge help for me since I need to make sure my total intake is 40% carbs, 30% fat, 30% protein
