anyone hear when POFQ is reopening?

i could swear i just read that POFQ is reopening in dec 2003, but now i can't find the source that i thought i read. anyone have any information?

also, we have ressies for POR for first week in Jan, but i am wondering if it will be a complete hole since they are getting geared up to renovate it soon...

any advice, should we switch?

anyone know if the teacher special swan/dolphin rate will apply then? we are also eligible for that discount, if it is available.

I just tried to make ressies for may of 2004 and was told that the renovations wouldn't be done, but they put me in akl instead.

I stayed at POR the end of Sept and the boat captain told us the POFQ was set to open late Spring. But there have been others that have been told in Deecmber. They were still working on alot of the buildings while I was there, I would be surprised if it will re-open by December.
They have not started any rehab on POR, I think that the plan is to shut part of it down once POFQ is done.
