Not as of yet. She was up very late last night, doing a legal paper for school. She was expecting her power to go out when the storm hit this AM, which I guess it right off shore now, a bit weakened from last night. I hope to talk to her later this AM or early afternoon.

We're getting alot of rain at the moment. So far not alot of wind. I am worried that we are on the east side of the storm and that we'll get a good pounding still. The meat of the storm isnt expected to hit until after noon sometime.

So far so good here in Baton Rouge.

As Des said, we're doing okay here in Baton Rouge. Lili weakened A LOT before hitting land and she didn't turn north as soon as they thought she would last night so we're not directly in her path. NOw, it seems like she'll continue moving north and not north-east, which means we *hopefully* won't get much. It's a bit gusty right now and we get rain on and off, but that's it so far. We've been very lucky.

Good News! I think it's pretty much all over. We didn't get much rain at all...maybe a couple of inches. The wind was a bit gusty at times and we did lose power for a few hours, but that's about it. Our cable just went out..not sure why, though. We were very lucky. And...they aren't making us go back to class tomorrow. YAY!
