Anyone having trouble getting into my disney experience

I was told that going forward they would phase out user names and you would have to log in with your email address. Now.... who knows if this is true. The hold up on mine was an old ESPN account that had outdated info. I think people who have only one log in across all Disney sites will be fine, as long as they use an email to log in. Good luck to everyone still struggling. I got lucky and talked to two castmembers that were very friendly and seemed to know what they were doing.
 
I just tried logging in to see my dining reservations for our November trip and it asked me to update my account by answering two security questions. I did and now EVERYTHING EVERYTHING is gone.....all of my ADR's, all of my fastpasses, my hotel res, my tickets. I'm praying it's just a glitch but in the meantime I'm losing my mind!
 
Our trip is Saturday! So my app is good but when I tried to login online with the same password and email as the app it wouldn't let me. So I tried an old password with the same email and it let me login but there's nothing there. And on my account online it has my work email that I used once when the disney store website wasn't working for me to make another account. Somehow they've gotten crossed so I guess I'll be calling if I want it to be fixed. Not sure why the account with nothing on it takes over the account with lots of stuff on it.

I need to download my Memory Maker and they expire tonight! I can't access my account.

If you've got an iPhone or android, download the MDE app and check it. I'm in the same boat you are - Nothing is appearing on the website but everything is showing up fine on the app on my iPhone.

. No reason at all to freak out. Get frustrated they can't get their crap together but don't panic

Call them and you can get an extension
 
We leave on Monday, and I tried multiple times yesterday in multiple browsers and was not able to get in. The app still worked, so I did multiple screenshots of all my reservations, just in case. When I still couldn't get in this morning, I called the number that shows on the login page. Spoke to a very helpful guy who said they had lots of calls with password problems. He emailed me the password reset link, and that worked. I was actually able to "reset" my password with my original password, and then was able to login no problem. All of my reservations are there!
 
You have to call in - there is no other solution. Call the WEBSITE HELP DESK, not the phones they list:

407-939-7765

Then tell them you can't access it and I will guarantee you that they will tell you that you have 2 accounts. Somehow the geniuses in trying to force harder passwords likely coded something wrong and it creates duplicate accounts - one with stuff and the other empty. They sent me an email with a password update and then she tried to tell me that I can't use my "email" as the login, but rather the "username" - which was the first letter of my first name plus my last name (e.g. John Smith = jsmith)

But I was like...umm, I can't use my email to login?? Well, I tried it in another browser and it worked, so something that she did via that initial password reset fixed it for me. Plus if I couldn't use my email to login , then how could I use the APP which explicitly asks for email, not username.

Yes I was told that I have two accounts for that e-mail and they "fixed" it for me. Funny how before 7:07 p.m. I didn't have two accounts before it asked me to create a harder password and answer security questions.
 
I'm a software developer and when stuff like this happens you just shake your head. Clearly they didn't test the system of changing passwords and likely had it tied to the account creation code. You don't release things until you test it - you don't make it "LIVE"!! Absolute stupidity and then to not even put a warning banner ...ughhh. On top of that I can no longer even access the website on my Firefox, but can on IE and Chrome. Go figure.

btw, why the heck everytime My Disney Experience asks me for my address it doesn't use the one in my profile, but rather it puts down the disney world address??? Even after I change it in profile, and when I add reservations I tell it to force update the profile too...ugghh.. sad.
 
I haven't been able to get into my account all day. I am able to see it on the app and everything is there. I tried doing the reset the password where they sent the email and it went through, but it still won't work for logging in.

I actually found an open ADR that I have been watching for but since I couldn't log in to take it I created a new account. I got the confirmation email for that, but of course now when I try and log in using the brand new account (different email address) it won't let me into that either. The Disney IT Dept really sucks!

The one I use actually used to be DH's account but I took it over and changed all the information to my own because he had made a new account. So today I log into MY account, we're 20 days out for our trip, I just wanted to double check a ADR time. To my surprise, all the information for our trip is gone, the personal info when I log in is my husband's information, his name, the icon he chose etc. All the FP+ are gone, dining reservations gone, etc. I can use my MDE app on my phone to SEE the reservations but when I click on something it prompts me to log in. I refuse to log in using MDE app because I'm afraid it's going to change the app info to my DH's also and I will lose all my plans, ADRS, FP+, etc.

I'm guessing I'll have to call disney to straighten this out. This is not a headache I need right now. ay yi yi
 
I went in to buy our annual passes for our trip next week and it gets me to the final pages of the check out process and then comes up empty (literally). Guess I'll join the phone brigade later one -- this is so ridiculous!

Be prepared to wait on hold for quite a while for the IT department. They were SWAMPED when I called last night as everyone seems to mysteriously be having this problem but like the CM on the phone told me, "You must have two accounts for the same e-mail address so it is confusing our system." Ummmmm....NO DIsney it's YOUR fault and your problem but whatever......

Thankfully once you get into IT the fix is quick.
 
yuck! It's so weird because I'm logged into my MDE app and all my stuff seems correct and is showing up but using that same email address on disneyworld.com.....nothing shows up. grrr
 
Called IT this morning. Wait time of about 10 minutes and then less than 10 minutes to fix. Annoying but pretty much painless.
 
I just logged back in and my missing FP+ was there plus an additional one :confused3 Unfortunately, I can't use it I won't even be in the park at that time.
