Anyone having difficulty using DVC site?

Hi
I registered on line last week (we are new Members as of our Dec/Jan visit). I have been trying to get on line and it asks me again for my member ID and Pin #, however it keeps coming up saying the Member ID is not Valid. Please advise me (perhaps I am not putting the # in there correctly. I have e-mailed DVC regarding the problem and haven't heard back to date. I just tried calling them but its an hour earlier there so they haven't opened yet.

When you go to the member webiste, it will always have 2 different login sections. The one on the left is for new members to register to use the site. If you have already entered your member ID and PIN to do the registration portion, then you can start using the right-hand login where you simply enter your username and password.

After you go thru the initial registration, you do not have to enter the member ID and PIN again. If you have not yet received your postcard with your PIN, you can call MS and they can help you with that info.

I did everything you said I should do the first time on the site. Now I should be able to sign in on the right and it won't let me. Last week I was able to get on, however from some reason it isn't allowing me in yesterday or today. I wanted to check and see if my bookings are on line as well as read up on the info regarding the dining plan. Oh Well I guess I will try calling them again or waiting for a reply from them. Thanks for the input. J

I've been going through this for 2 years. It is the biggest pain in the neck. Half the time I call for help they can't get on either!

Just yesterday I called DVC and was directed to an IT for help. She completely reregistered me, set a new user ID and password (this has been done twice before) I VERY CAREFULLY wrote it all down and after 30 minutes I was on!!!!!

I cannot get on this AM. I'm getting the same error messages again. ARRRRRRGH!! :badpc: :badpc:
 

hi: we just added our son and daughter-in-law as associate members last fall when we did another add-on. They send you a club id (not your member number) with the purchase papers. They mailed seperate cards with pin numbers. My son and d-i-l couldn't find their club ids, but a simple call to MS got the answer right away. Hope this helps.
 
Can you actually look at availability and make reservations online through the DVC member portal?

No. But you can do things like verify your reservations, view past point transactions, check how many points you have left in your current and next use year.
 
Hello I had a problem last week on the DVC site but i called member services and they got it all squared away for me it was some thing about a Id# issue. This week there have been no problems from us.
