Anyone have this doll back in 1967?

I had a doll that looked like Tipsy, but she didn't ride a bike, I don't know who she was. I had a Crissy, Velvet and Mia doll. Anyone have Dawn dolls or Flatsy dolls?

Flatsy Patsy, she's flat and that's that. LOL

I still have my CheerfulTearful doll and I'm 46 :) I also have my Liddle Kiddles and a doll that crawled. I think her name was Baby Crawl along but I don't remember.

What fun memories!

I used to take the Liddle Kiddles and shove them up Barbie's dress and call her pregnant. :rotfl2:

I still have the Dawn dolls, the carrying case and a whole bunch of clothes for them up in the attic. The little plastic shoes are probably still in the baggie my mom gave me for them way back then!

The doll I wanted most in the world was Living Babytenderlove. I got her for my 7th birthday. As soon as I saw the box (still wrapped!), I knew exactly what was inside. I had been eyeing that box up for MONTHS! :cloud9:

I had Dawn dolls too. I remember I had Dawn and Jessica, can't remember the other names. I had a ton of Barbies, and I loved my Barbies, but my Dawn dolls were my favorite. They didn't even have mohawks like the rest of my dolls - I was past that stage by then.

I still have my original Chatty Cathy. She was joined by some "friends" bought from ebay - 2 Chatty Babies, 2 Tiny Chatty Babies, a Tiny Chatty Brother, 3 Charmin Chattys, 5 Chatty Cathys. About 1/2 of them still talk.

I had Miss Revlon, a Toni Doll, Tressy, lots of Barbies, a Skipper, Francie (Barbie's Mod cousin), a Twiggy doll, several Flatsy dolls, a Pebbles Flintstone doll, Crissy and a bunch of bride dolls. My sister was storing them for me and let her children (who must be related to the evil toy destroying boy in Toy Story on their father's side). They WERE all in very good condition until her kids got hold of them. She had a Shirley Tmeple doll, but I have the pretty much mint condition dress for her. If I can figure out what size her Shirley Temple was, I'm buying one from ebay to put the dress on. (Shhhh! Don't tell her that I'm keeping her dress).

What about Tiny Tears. Does anyone remember that doll?

Tiny Tears was my favorite! Along with my Barbie with the blonde bouffant! ;) Tres chic!!!

I had a Movin' Groovin' Chrissy. My best friend had Baby Chrissy. I think I had the Dawn doll too. Is that the one that attaches on top of the record player and spins? I had a doll with blond hair that walked (she was battery operated). I can't remember what her name was. My mom was big on Madame Alexander dolls, too, so I received alot of those over the years.

Ah Liddle Kiddles!!!! I'd forgotten about them!

I'm partial to the 50's/60's Madame Alexander dolls. Great workmanship. It's a shame they haven't maintained their standards over the years. I guess making dolls of the same quality today would price them out of the market.

I collect dolls and have many of the ones mentioned on this thread. I've slowed down my collecting and occasionally sell some off. I don't have any daughters and my son just doesn't seem interested....go figure! :)

Besides Pitiful Pearl, I had Chatty Kathy, Skipper, and a number of other dolls whose names I can't remember. I really loved paper dolls best, though--did anybody else love paper dolls?

I lost one of Scarlett O'Hara's shoes and scribbled on her box when I was a kid. That was a big mistake. ;) I haven't seen the Madame Alexander dolls in recent years.

I'm an 80s baby, but I'm actually familiar with many 60s/70s dolls because my grandmother loved going to flea markets and garage sales. Although I didn't know what all of them were until years later when I researched them, I have a Cinnamon doll (Crissy's sister), some weird dolls called Finger Dings (they have brightly colored hair and no legs- you are supposed to use your fingers to make them walk), an outfit belong to Blythe (this huge headed doll who's eyes change color when you pull the cord.), and a Horseman Mary Poppins doll. My sis and I also own a talking plush redheaded girl that said funny things like "Why isn't your hair orange?" and "I'm here, where's the party?"

Gramma had this whole set of Flatsies that we used to play with when we came over. I also got a lot of 60s Barbie clothes and furniture from her. At her house was also Baby Crissy, regular Crissy, Blythe herself, Sunshine family dolls, and bunches of others. I'm almost certain I've seen Dancerina before.

Several years ago, my family went to visit my aunt at the house where she used to live with Gramma, and she let me explore the whole backyard shed where Gramma had kept her collections. It was amazing! She let me keep whatever I wanted, but I only had room for a few small things. Sadly, a few years ago, my aunt decided to move to a senior community and most of those treasures were thrown away! They had been sitting there rotting since my gramma died in 1990, she thought they were not worth saving. :(

As for things that were actually produced during my childhood, I'm an 80s girl all the way- My Little Pony, Rainbow Brite, Strawberry Shortcake (though most of mine were secondhand), Cabbage Patch. I love my American Girls too.

I saw a Teddy Ruxpin at an antique mall yesterday- I wanted him so bad when I was little! I also had (have) items like Wish World Kids, Brush-a-luvs, Smooshies, the original version of Polly Pocket, Turtle Tots, Starla, Lady Lovely Locks....

I love toys, can't you tell?

Oh, my mom still has her Pitaful Pearl and her Patty Playpal. Her favs growing up were Revlon dolls.

I had a doll called Velvet. You pushed in her stomach and her hair grew! I swear!

I also had Thumbelina (Tumbelina?)

I had the Velvet doll too. I loved that her hair grew! Push the button on the stomach and her hair grew, turn the knob on the back to make it shorter. There was a blonde and a dark hair doll by another name...can't think of it right now.

Edited to add..I had Velvet, that is the blonde and the brunette I now think her name was Mia.

I have a whole pink official Kiddle case FULL of Kiddles! Yes, some smelled of perfume! Maybe they all "did"? I got a lot of them, I think I will pull them out today and admire them! :teeth: I have some Flatsies too! :)

My dad would bring me something whenever he had to go out of town, and it was often one of these! :)

here's a cool website:
Doll Reference
The Barbie reference page and the Liddle Kiddles pages are pretty good.

I did have Tippy Toes. I also had Ms Beasley--I used to wear her glasses, lol. I had Velvet, Chrissy (would have loved to have a Dina--though her name isnt spelled just like mine). I had Tuesday and Tiffany Taylor and the Liddles. I my last "doll" christmas I wanted a baby alive but I didnt get one--my cousin did. Its kind of funny after all this time and Im sure several other gifts I asked for and never got this is the one that would stand out in my mind.

I had a Chatty Cathy! I beleive they are valuable now if anyone still has thiers!
