Is it large enough to eat as a meal? It sounds pretty good, but I'm know that places vary in the size of appetizers.

Awesome Appetizer Adventure - Great sampler for two or more, featuring Chimi-Cha-Cha, Big Blue Crab Delight, Caribe Chicken Tenders and Coastal Calamari $15.99

We have gotten the Awesome Appetizer Adventure twice and both times we were stuffed! The first time we had it on the Silver Plan, most of our meal went into doggie bags. We decided not to order this again as an appetizer because it is a lot of food. The second time we ordered it, DH had it as his meal, with me pinching bites too. Once they even let us substitute the calamari with chicken tenders and my five year old got full as well.

Hi ... My dh and I normally get this to share as it is really a large portion. It can easily be an entree for you. And we normally substitute the calamari for something else (my dh doesnt like calamari) - they subbed the quesadilla in place of it & wow did we have a huge appetizer - we didn't need the salad we were sharing as well - which was also a huge portion. Enjoy :goodvibes

We had the Awesome Appetizer, Nachos and the Volcano for Me, DH, DS5, DS2 and Nephew 13. We were so stuffed from the appetizers that we barely made a dent in the Volcano!

Thanks everyone. That sounds like a good possibility. Luckily I LOVE Calimari!

My DS (4 at the time) and I had this as our lunch and it filled up both of us

It's pretty large. They often seem to have way too much crab dip for the few chips, though. The chimi cha cha is my favorite! It is fabulous! I love the calamari, too.

We often share a salad and this and are definitely full- that's why we never make it to a dessert!

Oooooh, this is the first time I've heard of this, I'll DEFINITELY have to get it this trip! I looooooove calimari!

My older daughter and I have often shared it as a meal, it is terrific, and certainly big enough as a meal.

What is the chimi cha cha?

It is basically an egg roll with diced chicken, corn, black beans, red onion, cheese, cilantro, and a bit of lime juice in it. Excellent.

Well, Well, Well, I just saw a picture of this sampler, and now am wondering if i have any room to go to the rainforest cafe just to indulge in this.

I saw a picture too on the food picture thread. It does look good!!
