or subtraction RAP cd's?? Have they helped your child learn? I forgot all about them (saw them a few years ago) DD LOVEs LOVES LOVES music---but not RAP.....& we are WAY stuggling in Math---actually just struggling w/the timed subt/addition tests---she takes 2 a week & fails everyone of them...so I'm searching for ANYTHING to help her - not just the old flashcards...she answers them just not quickly....

ANy other ideas out there?

This is a great website for math practice. You can set the parameters as to what numbers you want to test, like if she is practicing her 4's this week you can just do those numbers. They have the option of being timed or not. They keep "score" for you too. You don't need to register and pay for most of the math stuff. The basic tests you will need are free.

Have you watched her do any of the timed tests? DS10 had difficulty passing those tests not because he didn't know his facts but because he was trying to be neat about it and if he wrote the wrong answer he would erase it. We worked with him about just crossing out the wrong answer and putting in the right one and that helped his speed a lot.
