Anyone Have Sympatico Dialup?

Hi. Just wandering if anyone has problems with it? Ours just wants to disconect ALL the time. DD14 hates it, especially late at night, and it will do nothing at all.

Do you have the option of going over to cable.
Its a much better system.

I have Sympatico VDSL and it's gotten really slow lately... almost as slow as dial-up!

We had it for many years and never had a single problem with it. WE just recently switched to the DSL and no trouble it's a bit faster but there are still times when it's slow.

Have you defraged your computer lately. It's not always the service, sometimes it's the computer.

And it is sometimes painful...lol.

Have you checked your outlook (if that is what you are using)...to see if after checking for new email, it automatically hangs up?

I haven't had any issues with it automatically disconnecting me...but, just slow.
