Anyone have recipes for Fish?

Bloody Mary Salmon

I love salmon and bloody marys....I am SO trying this!!!

I like to cook my salmon with just olive oil, salt & pepper, lemon juice and fresh rosemary. Serve with rice and asparagus. Mmmmm.....:goodvibes
 
My dd13 and her friend beg me to make grilled salmon (in tin foil) with korean marinade (sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy, garlic, brown sugar, green onion). Save some of the marinade for a sauce. Incredibly yummy.

Or a recipe I got here (not healthy) is to mix butter, mayo, lemon, basil, parmesean. Grill tilapia, then put some of the mixture on for the last minute.
 
I use foil for any white fish. I place the washed filets on the foil, top with a small bit of butter on each, sprinkle with dill weed and seasoned salt and close up the foil. In the oven it should bake short and hot....425 degrees for no more than 10 min. per inch of thickness of the filets. Check the thickest one for flakiness.

You can do them all in one piece on a baking sheet this way or wrap them individually and toss on the grill. Use an indirect flame. When I do individual ones I often add slices of red and green peppers and maybe onions or mushrooms. You could even put some cooked rice and place the fish on top to bake and the juices would season the rice.

It is easy to make fish but it is also easy to over cook it. That takes talent to know when to stop. Check out the food channel or other cooking sites for suggestions for different methods.
 
I tried baking,grilling and smoking.But the only way we eat fish here is deep fried in peanut oil.Low low cholesterol.Cut into chunks, twice batterd in whipped eggs with flour,seasalt,garlic powder,lemon powder and a dash of cayenne pepper.Just make sure your oil don't go over 325f. or the oil will burn.Nasty tasting then.
