Anyone have questions about the cabins?

This cabin is closer to the WL side not the BRV side correct? How close was it to the boat?

Yes, the one we stayed in was very close to Wilderness Lodge. WL boat dock is located by the WL pool, not far at all.

It was just the two of you in the cabin, did you feel it too much room? How many days did you stay? Thinking of booking a cabin for 6-7 days stay, but I feel like I need to invite another couple or family of 3 to enjoy the space. Did you cook/utilize the grill?

It felt very spacious and luxurious! Of course we didn't use the second BR or bathroom. The grills are out in front of the cabins, and are shared by several cabins. We didn't use them. We didn't cook, as we were there for only 2 nights. Going back this year for 4 nights!

I see @K9pal replied with their thoughts, but I'll add mine after a 2-night stay in the CCV Cabins in December.

Completely agreed it was spacious and luxurious. We didn't think it was totally excessive for us as a couple, in fact we wouldn't want to to share it with another couple. The 2nd bath isn't en suite to the 2nd bedroom so a hypothetical 'other couple' would have no contained space that was theirs.

I think the space is more designed for a family where the kids in the 2nd bed and living room can share the 2nd bath.

While the 2nd bedroom did go under-utilized with just 2 of us, we did use the 2nd bathroom as the, uh, 'smelly' bathroom.

We didn't cook, just not something we want to do on vacation.

We're also going back this year for 3 nights and will continue to try to find 2-3 nights per year to book a cabin.

We stayed in a cabin for a week last year with our daughter and little grandkids. It was wonderful! I have plans to go back next year, just the two of us and enjoy the relaxing vibe. We stayed on the other side of the boat dock so we had an expansive view of the lake with the water parade along with more privacy. We cooked most of our meals there.

They are wonderful.

Thank you. Trying to decide if I should go for the cabins closest to the fireworks or BRV.

The reason we liked the cabins with the higher numbers (toward the right) is that we didn´t have anyone peering into our cabin from the boats heading back and forth from the MK. The view was expansive too, nothing but water and trees. I am almost positive we could see some of the fireworks from our cabin too which was in the center of the row.

true about not having anyone peeking into the cabins from the boats. My husband would be walking around in his underwear forgetting I had the shades up.lol

There was a story years ago, work was being done on the outside of a resort (like painting or something) , women walks out of bathroom after taking shower......😲😲😲

You usually aren't concerned 5 floors up.

People forget, I know we will forget for sure! Happened to see a guy in a Chicago hotel across from my hotel room in his underwear.
