Anyone have problems making ADRs with segmented resservation?

I had a heck of a time getting the system to recognize my reservation today, thankfully I finally got it to work. But when I called to make my reservation for the Pirate cruise the kids want Disney told me they could not make it that DVC had to. So I called member services who told me they don't make those reservations at all, she then told me that I shouldn't go to WDW during CHristmas and that I am making a huge mistake going because its too busy and I will not be happy. So back to Disney tour department I go. They told me that it could not be done because it shows us checking out before the date I would want the cruise even though we are there until the 26th and I want it the 25th. She said since we segmented the 24-26 I can't make the reservation yet.

A - I would be reporting that MS CM for giving you her $.22 on traveling at Christmas. Entirely not her job or any of her business.

B - Don't know about the pirate cruise, but as far as I do know, the regular 407-WDW-DINE # should be able to book it, or if not, 407-WDW-PLAY (but I think those 2 things are combined now - or at least able to do both dining & recreation). But it is correct that they may not be able to book it on a segmented reservation - it seems to be hit or miss with those. It's their computer - telling them you are too far out to book it.
