Anyone have Pictures of the FtW Dog Park?

Hi,

We were at FtW last month and really enjoyed the Dog Park with our Schnauzers. Two weeks ago our homeowners association has decided they'd like to offer a dog park in our neighborhood. I tried telling them about Disney's but thought a picture or two would be worth a thousand words.

Has anyone taken any pictures of the dog park or if you're going in the next week or two, would you consider taking some great pictures and emailing them to me?

Just curious..are you a camper? No offense intended (I promise), but it doesn't really sound like it. One of the biggest perks (if not THE biggest) of owning an RV is the ability to take your four legged family members with you when you travel. It is our home away from home and our Daisy absolutely loves it! Even when we just crank up the generator to charge up the batteries, she goes nuts thinking that we are leaving without her! Dog parks are pretty much the norm at most campgrounds and I don't think I would be pushing it to say that the vast majority of campers travel with their pets. We all consider it a major benefit. For example...if we want to extend our stay an extra week or two, we can without any worries!
P.S. Please shoot me in the head if I ever go on vacation without her!
P.S.S Not really...but i just couldn't help myself!

I looked up this person's posts, seems all the posts on the camping board and some on other boards are less than friendly.


If he/she likes staying at hotels with other peoples germs, possibly bed bugs and roaches brought in from previous guests. Doesn't mind other people entering the room while he/she is occupying it (maids, maintenance, pest control, local gov't inspectors, hotel mgmt, fire marshall) the ones I know of. Go for it.

But, we on the camping board will enjoy our campers and tents, sleeping in our own beds and enjoying nature with our pets. Camping is not always a financial choice but a life style choice.

Wouldn't go anywhere without our Lab, Aggie! She has traveled with us and camped with us since she was 10 weeks old! She is a part of the family. Amen to having my own bed and bathroom. I know whose been sleeping in my bed!!!

Srsly... my 3 border collies (who are unquestionably smarter than I am and no doubt better company that the PP) have informed me that dignifying such a post with a reply that takes more than 5 seconds would be a horrific waste of the time we could be spending playing, snuggling and generally ENJOYING EACH OTHER'S COMPANY.

Ooops - gotta run. The dogs have the new camper brochures out again and it seems they're reaching a consensus on THEIR next camper.

That poster appears to be from the shallow end of the gene pool. I liked hotels (and still do) before pets. Now, with pets, camping seems like fun. Freedom of choice is what it's all about.
