Anyone have parents/a parent that smokes?

im sorry.

i have no smokers in the family. but when i go out of MN, then i cant breathe because of all of the smoke.

My dad does.
It's dissappointing.
Whenever I see him going to take a smoke..I say "have fun sucking tar and rat poison"

I'm totally anti-smoking. It's a total turn off, and that still applies to my own father.

He quit for a long time...but he recently just started..and that pissed me off.

I'm going to sound like a total b****, but...if he ends up in the hospital...he did it to himself.

My mom smoked until after I was born. My dad still smokes, though. I've been getting second-hand smoke for a long time. =/

I have a great aunt who smokes and I HATE it when shes around. ughh....its so nasty. the doctor told her she had copd(?) it stands for something...you get it from smoking too much.

But a lot of my close friends do, which is annoying. Plus I always stink after hanging out with them. >:O

dad hated it so she stopped.
this was before we were born.
my grandad did, he got lung cancer... but he won that battle. died of a heart attack.
two of my uncles do.

an old friend of mine lost her grandmother to smoking =(

Thank the Lord from Heaven above none of my parents smoke.
My grandpa smokes though.
But never in the house.
Or when my grandma is around.
Or my mom, dad, or grandkids.
He like never smokes, and I'm glad because I get choked when I smell cigarette smoke.

My grandad smoked. He got lung cancer and died a month before my 11th birthday. Other then that, I believe nobody else smokes in my family.

None of my family smokes. Anymore. My granddad did. But he recently passed away because of it. Here's the story.

He went to the doctor for a check up. The doctor told him he needed to go to the lung doctor, so then he went there. They ended up finding cancer in his lung caused only from smoking. He passed away about 2 weeks after that. It was very sudden and very hard on us all.

Sorry for a story but it could happen.

My grandpa died within a week of going to the doctor. He died a day or so after he was officially diagnosed.

My parents hate the smell of cigarette smoke. Last summer the hotel we stayed at in Bangor had no nonsmoking rooms, and my mother was about to puke it smelled so bad to her.
Canadian cigs don't smell THAT bad to me, but the American ones are gross.
Like Canadian cigs have more of a sweet smell. American it's like... gross.
There's a difference I tell ya.

Both of my parents smoke.

I HATE it. I'm always scared.
I tell them to stop, but they tried quitting
but it didn't work out.
I'm not too harsh on them,

Are they cloves?

My boyfriend smokes...but at ACU it's all non-smoking, and you can't smoke inside any business or restaurants or even bars in Abilene, so he'll have to quit.

My Papa smoked for forever, stopped when I was around 2, and died of pancreatic cancer (caused from smoking) when I was 12.

My aunt smoked since she was 15, and had a massive heart attack when she was 50, and is lucky to be alive.

None of my family smokes, thank goodness. But in my science book~ it says that secondhand smoke CAN"T kill. You can't get lung cancer from secondhand smoke.......which is a good thing, to kids who have to live with parents who smoke.
I'm sorry that your Dad smokes...
