Do you have a parent that smokes? Or do both smoke? Step-parents?
Do you ever get frustrated?
--------------------
I admit, I do get frustrated at times. My dad's the only parent who smokes, but it affects (effects?) the whole family.
I'm borderline asthmatic, partially due to secondhand smoke. Even though he only does it outside or in his room, still, everything wreaks.
We have been told time and time again he needs to stop for everyone's health. My oncologist told him repeatedly he needs to stop smoking, I know have an even greater chance of lung cancer. Yet he still smokes.
We've asked him several times to quit, and he's made efforts to quit, but never succeeded.
What really makes me angry is the fact he sees his child battling cancer, when he knows very well he will go thru the same thing one day.
Sorry, I just needed to vent. I understand it's his "get away from reality" thing, but when it harms others, especially your own flesh in blood, is it really worth it?
