Anyone have online booking yet?

I checked about 4 times today and didnt have it. Then decided to take PP advice and shut down the computer and restart and there it was!!!!! We have 400 pts total, last name M and first contract was Nov 2009. I was able to do a waitlist for an extra day at VGC in June that I couldnt get at 7 mos. Now I have a waitlist for day before and day after exisiting reservation. So far, I like it.
 
I am in and it is neat. I am curious about how it will handle the booking window. It also has a cool waitlist feature that allows you to see your current and old waitlists. I have 360 points and bought in 2008.
 
I got home a little while ago and it's there. I played around a little bit and I like it so far. :thumbsup2
 

I was on the phone yesterday with MS and he said that modifications would have to be done by phone.

I was just online looking at the booking process and it looks like it will be good because it pulls up other resorts that have availability if the one you want is full. It gives a nice point comparison too.

The link is very small. It's in the little box on the right hand side.

So just to clarify - if you want to change your resort at 7 mo or do a split stay, you have to call? I don't see a link to modify a reservation which I want to do already because we have changed our November dates by a day. Wish I could just do it online, but I don't see how.
 
:surfweb: I don't have access and can't see this info posted. Could someone who has this wonderful new toy please check if there is any way to book an accessible unit. I read on another board that they were excluding members needing accessible accommodation from using the online booking. I hope that's not true. :confused3

My question is can you book more than 1 room at a time. I always need 5 to 8 studios at BWV for OCT. Will I be able to do this or is it for only 1 ressie at a time.

From what I see you can only book one room at a time

I had to call in to check availability as I still am not "active" for the online booking. MS told me that as of 5:00 they received an email that everyone should be active. She advised me to maybe delete cookies and try to log in again. It's worth a try!
 
Here is another screen shot that shows in the upper right hand corner if your points are in holding and also if you try to book outside your window, you get an error message...

Just added an extra VGC night to our August trip and it worked like a charm. Very easy! I'm very impressed overall.
 
At first, I was confused why it only shows points for the 2011 and 2012 UY, but then I realized that I'm currently still in 2011 UY, because I have Feb. But still, as I'm already able to book for later in the year, I think it also should show 2013, as I would be able to borrow from there.
It does show points available to be borrowed from 2013. Click on "2012" to get more detailed info.

For those who cannot see it yet, try turning on "Private Browsing" in your Browser or deleting cookies, apparently worked for some...

Anyway, I think the new feature looks quite good and seems to be easy to use.

But I already want more :-) I want to be able to edit my current reservation. While playing around, I noticed that a different resort than the one I'm currently booked in has availability for the entire stay, so I would have loved to switch. As this doesn't work online (yet?), I wanted to call, only to notice that it was just after closing time of Member services... :-)

So I will have time all morning and early afternoon to check out availabilities online until I can call MS again at 3 PM (my time, 9 AM yours) :-)

Torture! And surely not helping my productivity tomorrow. :surfweb:

Oh, and while we're at it, how about giving us a resort map which shows available rooms where you can choose which one you'd like. Yeah, I know, but one can dream, can't I?

I was finally able to get in. I didn't see my transferred points on the reservation form, either. They are different resort, different UY. I went ahead and tried to book a ressie in Dec using the transferred points at their home resort and I received and error: You've selected a non-home Resort for dates that fall during the Home Resort Priority period. Please make another selection or change your dates. So I guess Member Services will have to book my reservation. :)
