I just bought one the other day in the hope I'd have as much success with it as I have with my Stylus 820. I'll be using it for everyday stuff, of course, but one of the big things I wanted the new one for is for taking concert pictures, specifically at a couple of shows this summer. The Stylus 820 performed very well--much better than I'd anticipated--under all of the weird lighting conditions using the "use available light" scene setting and I'm REALLY hoping the 1010 will be as good or better, but it's almost impossible to duplicate the conditions before the actual event takes place, KWIM?
This is one of the pics I got with the 820:
(The rest of them are here.)
So if anybody's got any experience or tips or suggestions or ANYTHING, I'd be grateful! I'm going to try testing it out at Off Kilter shows in Epcot next week and I only have till the 26th to return it if I decide it's not gonna work for me. TIA!
