Anyone Have NetZero?

I am finally switching from AOL.

We only surf the web and we have AIM, so there is no need to pay $23.90/month when I can pay $9.95/month.

It works good so far.

Anyone here on the boards have NetZero and how do you like it?

We are on cable at home but DH has NetZero at his office and really likes it.

I have used the free service when traveling. Worked OK.

Have cable at home and am spoiled by the speed.

DH installs it into computers he builds for people who are just starting out with computers (if you can believe that there are still people who haven't surfed the web.)

He puts in the free service. It gives them a chance to see what the web is all about......then they get addicted like us.....and then decide what provider they really want to go with based upon their usage. Those ads on the free service can get annoying after a while.

We have it installed at home too in the event that DH is traveling & signed onto AOL....it allowed me a way on so we could IM each other.

But we just switched to DSL/AOL....so his traveling isn't a problem anymore. We can both be signed onto AOL now.
