Does anyone have any information on the universal studios "Express pass plus" I was reading about them. How much are they , how do you go about getting them and are they really worth the money. In other words are they worth it, I have two small children and we are going July 26-30th and I was wondering if we were better off getting these if we could get on more rides??? If anyone who has used on of these passes could reply I would really appericate it ! Thanks so much:tongue:

Express Plus is a fickle thing, procewise. During the busy season, they are $37/person. During the slow season, they are usually around $15/person.

They can only be used once per attraction, and can only be used on the date and park listed on them. If you go to USF, you get Studio Express Plus. It cannot be used at IOA. At IOA, it's Islands Express Plus. Not valid at USF, obviously.

Well, I just bought express passes for two days towards the end of August. I really want my DH to like UO as we have never been there before, and I want to go back for HHN in October. So, I splurged and bought the express passes after reading about how great FOTL is! Unfortunately, as previously stated, they can only be used once per attraction. I guess we'll get fast passes for the rides we really like so we can go back on them. I figured this will be helpful towards a favorable first impression! I'll keep you posted though. Another idea would be to just book a room at one of the on-site resorts to get FOTL rights, but I don't know if this would be cheaper or not.

End of August, Crowds aren't that bad. I would get to the parks early and ride most of the to do rides first. Last year we rode MIB about 5 times by just going through the Child Swap before the crowds built up. I would ride early, get express passes, and then use express pass plus when crowds are at there peak.
For July 26 th Same thing at Opening, Must do rides, Get Express passes next, then use your pay for express passes.

Thanks for the advice!! Was there any particular order you did the rides with kids? We are going with the intention of doing the family stuff and big rides if we can ! I was wondering if you started a certain way. for ex at islands ive read to go to seuss or Jurrasic park first , I know we should hit spiderman first thing but my 5 year old is funny about stuff so i dont want any suprises he get from that to set his mood for the day. and at universal I figured start with shrek and Jimmy N..... and go from there?? Any suggestions??? Im hoping we can get alot of stuff out of the way before we are stuck in huge lines!!! Any suggestions would be greatly appericated!! Thanks Pixie-Girl :jumping1:
