Anyone have extra free passes to Universal?

I received a mailing yesterday for a free admission to universal and another for $35 for friends and family. I was wondering if anyone had an extra free pass? I would gladly make a donation for your trouble.

You'd probably have better success under the general Universal boards, instead of trip reports .. and the free ticket may be tied to your name, which would require ID, so best bet would be (a) buying the $35 ticket for friends/family or (b) another ticket option

Hope you have your flame suit on... using other peoples' *free* passes has been much argued here lately.

We had one day one child left last week (gave our passes to my BIL and his family) - thought it would be more trouble to give it away than throw it away.

Well thats just plane stupid to flame someone. But hey to each there own. I just thought I would ask. I have only been a member of these boards for couple years but I guess I deserve to get flamed every once in a while. I have walked out of the park with extra passes and not being able to use them and will hand them to the first family that needs them. That what people do, not argue and flame them for it. I was just trying to find a cheap trip for me and the wife to enjoy. Isn't that why we go? to enjoy ourselves? Guess some people take there theme parks to serious.

You must show photo id to redeem the free ticket. The ticket must have either your name or your address. The photo ID must match the name or address. If it doesn't match either, you won't be able to redeem it.

Yeah, we got one of those free tickets in the mail too. It is tied to your name and you have to show ID. We are using ours at the end of May.

I think it is crazy to flame someone for using/offering a free ticket. I mean, if you have a free day, then why just toss it? That's insane. Like these parks do not make enough money as it is.

I dont think its flaming to let people know they need id. If you gave them your free ticket, and then they were told they couldnt use it and had to pay gate prices and were publicly embarrassed to boot, I dont think thats exactly doing them any favors.
