We are leaving in Feb. from NY. All the airfare are in the $400 range round trip. I am hoping it is because it is so far in advance, and they will release more flights. Anyone else book flights for Feb? When would the best time be to check again?

Check the SWA fares when they come out in a month or so. We are going for $600 for the whole family total round trip.

If you are traveling on Pres. Week the airfare will be high out of NY. Right now I am flying SW out of Islip for about $220 pp round trip in Sept. Last Feb (pres. week) I paid about $360pp round trip out of Islip. I have not found many cheap flights from NY to MCO lately. Good Luck!!

I booked my Feb 2010 trip a few months back and from Boston have 174.88pp r/t before taxes (was 209.20pp with taxes). We are flying Delta, which means we need to pay to check baggage so that's something to factor when looking at ticket prices. I found if I bumped my departure or return days up a bit my flights doubled and flying on a Saturday brought my tickets to 700pp. We adjusted our vacation around the cheapest dates for us to fly and will make it work for school. We leave Weds, fly home the following Thurs.

Our family of 5 is going rt for under 1100, not too bad.
