anyone have experience selling DVC?

We are in a tight spot between graduate school and my DH's new business for probably the next 2 years. We need to sell our DVC contract and are looking into the Time Share Store in order to do that Does anyone have experience selling a contract. Just would like to hear some positive stories I guess I hate doing this but in a couple years we can reinvest so it will be ok

We've sold two contracts, the first on our own, the second with ***. Someone said that selling yourself was easy, so we did that with our first one. Too many headaches for me! The only reason we chose **** for our second is that we'd very recently bought a contract (they had the use year and resort we wanted). We've also since bought 2 contracts with the Timeshare Store and wouldn't hesitate to use them to sell. But we'd never try to sell ourselves again!

I recently sold a contract using TTS. They made it incredibly easy and they have a large following, so I received offers almost immediately. I strongly recommend going through them if you want to sell. Good luck!

If you use TSS, stick to your guns on your desired pricing (if it is reasonable, and on par with what others are listed at).

I've noticed being both a buyer and a seller w/the TSS that as a buyer, they talk you into paying more and as a seller they try to talk you into listing for lower. If you have a good contract, then you will find a buyer.

We like TSS just fine, but it was something that we noticed. Stuck to our desired listing price and got an offer w/in a day.

I used the timeshare store and was very happy with the service. I got an offer the day my points were listed. I am in the process of completing the final closing documents. I'm sad to sell, but am glad it was so easy.

We have bought and sold through them. Everyone I had contact with was great, no problems.
