OUCH! Twice now in the last two months I have had such a horrible pain in my shoulder that I cannot move my left arm without being in excrutiating pain. I finally went to the doc today and she diagnosed me with Burtsitis...although she siad I am awfully young to have it (32). Anyways she gave me a shot of Lidocaine and some steroid(WOW DID THAT HURT). She gave me some excersises to do and a script for 800 mgs of Motrin. My only problem now, is since the shot...I have a fever of 102 and feel horrible. Called the docs and the on call guy says "wow...thats weird", gee thanks really reassuring mister. So my ? any of you docs or nurses or anyone with Bursitis have any idea if the fever and the shot have anything to do with the shot or the bursitis? Or is it just a coincidence??? Guy on call had not a clue and said well...just keep an eye on it and maybe call the doctor in the morning.
Any advice would be very reasurring thanks.
