anyone have discounts after October 1?

Getting restless waiting to book and I was wondering if anyone has had any discounts (PIN's or otherwise) for after October 1st? It seems so far nothing is past this date! anyone?

I just booked a room at POFQ for December 10-18, 2011. I have been deleting my pin emails since we were not planning a trip any time soon.

When we decided to book a trip I called and I did have a **pin code attached to my name for 35% off for December 11-18, 2011.

The 10th is blocked out so at this point we are paying rack room rate for this. We also priced some deluxe resorts we we could get 40% off of the deluxe.

At this point we are staying at POFQ, we stayed there in Feb 2009 and we loved the transportation options from the resort. We did get a great price for the Savannah room at AKL but we felt that we did not spend enough time in our room last trip. Now we will have a 7 year old and 3 year old this time.

We are so excited for our trip! I hope there is more pixie dust for pin codes soon for everyone trying to plan a December trip! I sent for the vacation DVD and I played around with dates on the disney planning site for Oct.-Dec. 2011. I am not sure if this helped to generate my code.

Can anyone tell me how this week 12/10-12/18 was crowd wise this year? We thought about Dec. 3rd week but I think that is POP Warner week and our code was not good for that week.

**With our first code(35-40%) we could choose between 8/21-10/8, 10/23-10/29, 11/13-11/19, 11/27-12/3, 12/11-12/24. I hope this helps everyone with planning.

We were there for the 12-19th this year and we thought the crowds were very reasonable. Have fun!

Well now that I know they are out there I'm calling this morning! Does anyone else feel bad calling just to ask if there is a PIN in their name? If there isn't one I guess I'll just have to wait.

We were planning on going near the start of November but found out it's Jersey Week and that the parks can be more crowded so we switched to October

I am so tempted to call, I am already booked but have changed my dates twice now due to trying to take advantage of promotions and save some money. I would love the 40% it would save me a little more money and give me the option of changeing back to my original dates later in October if there is availability.

I had a 40% off pin and booked for the week after Thanksgiving. I found this out only when I called to change resorts on my existing reservation, the CM told me I had a pin code...never received notice of this pin by email or snail mail. Mine had blackout dates.

I called to add a date to the beginning of my reservation (now Nov. 17-26) and was told there were no promotions or PIN's on my name. I added the 17th hoping they will do free dining again and I can catch the tail end of it and keep it for the length of our stay. Cross your fingers. I have budgeted for full price on everything but I am hoping for a room discount or FD or anything! I can hardly stomach the thought of paying $125/night for POP Century. I like it but I don't think it's worth that much per night.

edited to add: The CM told me to be on the lookout for new PIN's coming out though. Whatever that means.

Yes, just call the reservations number and ask them to price out a new reservation for you. Then inquire whether or not you have any pin codes associated with your name or address. Or, just ask them whether or not you have any pin codes associated with your name or address. Good luck!

i have been going to the motherland since 1974.
staying on site once the resorts went up.
this is the first pin i have ever received......!!

i called yesterday and was told dec 27th is when my pin was attached to my name/address.
the CM told me that was the first day the pins came out for the 40% off room rates.
she also said they are staggering the release of those pins for a couple of week period.

i would like to believe the CM was accurate on this information.
all i can tell you is what was said to me when i was making my ressie.

please call and check if you have a pin!
all it would take is your time to do so.
you might come out excited like i am if you find you HAVE scored a pin code.

i really do like that place and this will be my 26th stay there this fall.

i called and added the QS plan to my discounted room.
only had to buy a 2 day ticket to make it a package.
the CM said there are codes to allow this add on.

still saving a lot of money.

I booked last week under the 40% pin code last week. We are going Oct 21-29. The 21 and 22 were not covered under the pin but was able to do 23-29 under it. We are staying at Wilderness Lodge. I am luck enough to have a few days left over on a non-expiration ticket from last year.

Just received a pin today via snail mail for 35% off value or moderate and 40% off deluxe or villa from 2/27 to 12/24 with some blackouts. Hoping for free dining though. hth

Thanks for the info AimeeMichele. I plan on calling soon to book my end of Oct. trip Hopefully a little pixie dust will be sprinkled on my ressie and a PIN will appear
