My only tip is to map out the shows you want to see when you first get there, then plan the rest of the activities around the shows. Oh, and if you are going during an extremely busy day, the VIP tour is great for beating the crowds.
If you plan on eating at a certain counter service restaurant, make sure you check the times on the back of the map; some close a few hours before park closing. Also, we have had luck in riding Manta multiple times with waits of 10 minutes or less right after the park opens and before the park closes.
So we went back today (we went last Sunday) and today was awful. Not sure why it was so busy today and so dead last week. Though today was Saturday and last week was Sunday. It was just one of those really hot and crowded days. A couple of good things happened though. My oldest son got pulled out of the crowd during the otter/sea lion show and was highly embarrassed. It was awesome!
Also got a good tip.....I saw a woman carrying a Universal Cup. I asked her about it and apparently Sea World will refill Universal cups. Kind of surpring but cool.
