Anyone have any recommendations for Bluegrass music?

Does anyone out there listen to Bluegrass? I just discovered MP3's and I want to find some more Bluegrass. I just started listening to it, and have discovered I really enjoy it! I don't know much about Bluegrass though, so I'm hoping some of you can give me some recommendations. I love, love, love Alison Krauss and Union Station! Any other groups someone can recommend?

Here are my recommendations-- Top of the list is The Seldom Scene, if you can get a hold of a double album release called " Live From the Cellar Door" it is wonderful. The absolute best harmonies I have ever heard. Also by the Seldom Scene is the Baptising album.........very rare and hard to find but also very good.

Any old releases by Jim and Jesse- In The Pines is good.

The Dry Branch Fire Sqaud are very good.

If I were new to bluegrass I would start with The Seldom Scene album I suggested above. You can order it from a music store and it is a special order but it is well worth it. Every person I have every played it for ( many who claimed not to like bluegrass) have just loved Live From The Cellar Door.

Any release that The Whites are singing on is a good bet too.

Try the "O Brother, Where Art Thou" soundtrack,
it's really "old time" music but many include
"old time" when speaking of Bluegrass.

Try "Old & In the Way" it's a wonderful BG album that Jerry Garcia did with David Grisman long ago

I have the "O Brother Where Art Thou" cd & I love it! Highly recommend it & the artists that are on it.....

On the folk side - Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, Arlo Guthrie are my favorites....
