Anyone have any luck getting CR or Poly

Was trying to talk my dh into a quick October getaway as I hate October for many reasons. However I just went to book room only and no availability at either resort for any dates in October with room only discount. Just wondering if anyone had any luck scoring discount at either resort.

I booked Standard view at the poly for 9/8-9/17 with the room only discount. The room only discounts that were released today only go to 10/3. They are "late summer" not "fall" discounts.
