Anyone have any ideas on teaching "faith" to children?

Any links, games, ideas, or crafts on how to teach what faith is? (as in having faith in something unseen).

For example:

Showing the kids something that tastes good and something that tastes bad and then blindfolding them and instructing them to have faith that I will give them the good food.

I don't know it that is faith, or trust. The trust that you will walk back in the door after you've gone somewhere. They trust that you will feed them food that is not dangerous for them, etc.

I've never seen china, or even ohio, but I have faith that they are there. I have faith that tomorrow will come. I have faith that the one candy bar will add 5 pounds.

What are you wanting to teach them?

Good point. I am wanting more of the "believing in things unseen" kind of thing.

How about a basic one of wind? Wind cannot be seen, the results can be, but not the wind itself.

I'm not sure about the links, games, etc......
but as far as the example you gave about blindfolding them and telling them to have faith.......
I don't really think this is a good idea of something to teach a child. I think that when it comes to ingesting something or taking something into your body (stomach, etc...), they should not be taught to blindly follow along and have faith that it will be good. Of course, you want your childrent to trust YOU, but that is not something I would want to condition them to do with other people.
