Anyone have any experience with fiberglass or boats?

DH has a canoe that is probably 15 years old. It was used a little bit then left outside in the Missouri weather. (big tem. extremes) It's been upside down on sawhorses but not covered up. Is there any hope that this boat will ever float again?

turn it over and fill it with water

if it doesn't leak that way...it shouldn't when in the water
