Anyone have an old iPod Nano? If so, read this.

Just to say, I finally called for my shipping box for our 1st Gen Nano. they sent a shipping envelope FEDEX overnight? I got it today, 12 hours after I requested it, how odd.

We will ship it tomorrow. I hope the replacement comes fast, too. My son was actually still using the 1st Gen (his sister gave it to him when he broke his big iPod). I am betting he will not like the touch screen, but oh well.

I've had a product replacement pending since Jan 6th. Yesterday I got an email with a tracking number saying it had been shipped. Hopefully it'll come in today or tomorrow!

EEK! Some people are getting theirs shipped right away and others are taking forever it seems. I really hope the wait isn't that much longer.

It feels like it's been taking forever compared to others I've seen on the thread, I initially submitted the claim a week before Thanksgiving and it took over a month to get the box just to send it back in.

My silver iPod Nano, 6th gen, 8g arrived today! It's so tiny; it will take me a while to get used to it.

It took about 4 or 5 weeks for me. I hate that you have to sign for it. This was their 3rd attempt. Seriously they should attempt to deliver in the morning and then try again after 5....

thanks for posting this!! My nano has only worked in the ihome, not on its own, for a long time. It's a 1st generation, though, and they are sending me a box. I never would have known about this, I never got an email!

I want to thank the op for this post. I knew nothing about it until I saw it on here, like many other great deals. We received our replacement iPod, which was a 6th gen, 8g, silver. My son has been saving up for an iPod Touch and we decided to try and sell the Nano. Way to many on eBay and with the % to them and Pay Pal I decided to list it on our local Criagslist. No serious emails. I started looking into places that traded or purchased them and found Best Buy. We had the cable and wall plug so we calculated what we would get for it................$77 They do put it on a Best Buy card. Best Buy's website had the 8g, 4th gen, iPod Touch for $189.99 this week and our local store matched the web price. Not as great as those Christmas deals that included the gift card to some stores, but my son had just enough money to buy his own with the Nano trade

I sent my ipod back around mid November and the new one arrived about 4 weeks later. It is a much smaller version but my kids say it is the new generation. I havent uploaded to it yet. I was impressed with the turnaround time.
