Ever since we got back from our Disney trip, my daughter says DAILY - "We need to find Belle...in her yellow dress...on ba-cation".

So...does anyone have Akershus photos? Both of the breakfast selection and hopefully of Belle wearing yellow?!?

:goodvibes

I do!

The food on the buffet was just ok, but the hot plate was good (especially the potatoes).

All the princesses you see above were there. We had 5. Belle didn't come around the tables. She was only doing the pics outside.

Service was ok. Sometimes we couldn't find our server and it took over an about an hour and 15 min. for the meal, but it was DD's birthday and they brought her a free cupcake and birthday card signed by the princesses.

THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE!

Not sure why we were so hesitant on the menu...we're not very "brave" eaters!

Such great news. Definitely adding it to the list!

THANKS AGAIN!

Though it's been a couple of years since I ate breakfast there, based on the pics above, the food looks about the same. Each time I ate there (three times in three years), the food was tasty and warm. Certainly, it's not the best breakfast meal I've ever had, but it was good--the eggs cooked nicely, the sausage was moist and delicious, and those potatoes are absolutely worth a second plate. Overall, I found the princesses to spend an appropriate amount of time at each table which is one reason it takes over an hour to eat. Have fun!

I think the buffet's success depends on a matter of taste. We very much enjoyed the fishes that were provided (smoked salmon, several herrings, etc.) but that is not a universal breakfast desire. The fruit was great, but that is fairly common to the Disney breakfast buffet scene. The offering at the table was a top-notch unhealthy fest of breakfast deliciousness, which the posted pictured demonstrate. I echo the potato sentiment - memorable. The coffee was spectacular, a surprise I welcomed.

Our server was very attentive and friendly. Other tables we saw had different experiences. It is a little chaotic what with all the royalty zooming around and the fact that the buffet traffic has trouble navigating back and forth to the tables. Set expectations accordingly.

Our girls loved it from beginning to end.

So is Mary Poppins no longer there for breakfast?

The "princesses" (other than Belle) are subject to change at any time. In March 2009, we had Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora, and Mary Poppins. Wouldn't have minded Ariel in the least, however...

We went twice in December 2009 and had Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Aurora, Snow white at both breakfasts.

From most recent reviews i've read that seems the standard, but not guaranteed, line up.

Faldred: did you get two photo packages? or only one?

We have 7 people and wonder if we could get two photos?

The people in front of us had more than one family in their group and they each got a pic with Belle. Here's some of ours. There was also Sleeping Beauty
