Anyone have a Skip Hop diaper bag?

I've been looking at the Skip Hop diaper bags that attach to the stroller as well as the saddle bag ones that attach to the side of the stroller. Does anyone have any experiences with these?

My skip hop is a couple years old so I don't know if the models have changed much. I used it for a few months, but gave up on it. Just not enough room and didn't sit upright (very thin).

I had much better luck with using carabiners from Target (or anywhere for that matter) and attaching a more "normal" sized and shaped bag I got at Old Navy for cheap.

We have a saddle bag for dd´s Quest and will be really using it for the first time next saturday.

It is not very roomy but it can fit a change of clothes, small autograph book and pen and a small bottle of water on the side. Definetly enough for us, since that is all dd is bringing on the plane (small notebook and colors instead of autograph book and pen), and I will detach it before gate checking the strollers.

In the parks I put everything else under the stroller.

I have two SkipHop Dash diaper bags, and I love them. They are very spacious and I like that they have several compartments. I can keep my "mom" stuff and my toddler stuff separate.

The only issue I have had which is not really a SkipHop specific problem is that when I put it on the handles of my Maclaren stroller (I think it's the Techno Classic), it does tip when my daughter gets out of the stroller. Not sure if it happens with other umbrella strollers, my guess would be yes.

The bags themselves are wonderful though, I highly recommend them.

Good luck!

I have 3 of them: a blue camo print one, a brown one, and a green camo print one. I use them as a diaper bag and as a bag when I attend classes at community college. When people ask me where I got it from, they are shocked I tell them it's a diaper bag.

I love the pockets and general design. I can fit everything and anything in it. They have a much larger bag now, but that one was too big for me.

I also have that tipping problem, but that is probably because I am hauling too much stuff. lol

I have the blue camo bag. I love it! It fits over the stroller handles well. My husband will actually use this bag too...he doesn't mind it. It does tip over a lot because it is a thin bag. I like all the compartments and that the cell phone pocket is on the outside. I get compliments on the bag all the time! :yay:

I have the Skip Hop bag and while I LOVE it for going to the mall, zoo, etc, I would not bring mine to WDW. It does cause tipping on umbrella strollers when your child gets out. In order to pull it off the stroller to bring it with you, you would have to detach it from the stroller and grab the bag itself or re-attach the long shoulder strap in order to put it on your shoulder to carry...it would be a real pain.

I use a travelon bag for anything I need to keep on me at all times, and I keep a cheap diaper bag (I use the freebie one I got at the hospital) with diapers, wipes, changing pad - items I wouldn't be overly upset about if someone stole them - hanging off the back of the umbrella stroller.

I have a blue camo expo and matching saddlebag. I haven't had trouble with my stroller tipping, but I'm not anywhere near being a heavy packer.
I am planning to use the saddlebag for WDW on our next trip but not the expo(diaper bag) because of the open space in the main compartment. The main compartment closes with velcro and I'd hate to see all our stuff get soaked during a downpour. There are two smaller compartments on either side of the main section and they close with a zipper. One good feature about the expo is that it expands from about 3 inches wide to about 6 inches wide(the bottom unzips).
HTH :)

Love, love, love my skip hop bag! I have the one that attaches to the top handles of the stroller....in Red. I bought the bag specifically for Disney last year. I love that it attaches to the handle, because it leaves the basket for other things like ponchos and such. It makes for easy access too....especially when taking it on and off for frequent rides. The two pockets on the outter sides work great for bottle. Even after the trip, I continue to use it. Works great on grocery carts.....I just attach it to the handle and keeps me from having to lug a bag around or take up space in the cart.

I have one and love it! It has lots of great storage for us organizational moms! (and dads too! although I do have to remind DH where everything is) And I think any diaper bag you put onto a umbrella stroller will tip it when the baby, toddler, kid gets out of it just due to the stroller and how it is weighted. I bought a basic black one, I have a LLBean diaper bag that I put the straps over the stroller handle bars too that I LOVE but I just HAD to get a Skip Hop too!!
