We are carving pumpkins, listening to Christmas of course...;) .

So dd would like to roast the seeds and I was wondering if you had a recipe to share for raosting those seeds?

Thanks!:D

yup!!! I just finished roasting mine!!!! wash the seeds REALLY well. Get a baking/cookie pan and smear some olive oil on it. dump the seeds in the pan and sprinkle salt on (the more the better;) !! with your hands mix it all up and put in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. its delicious....you could also sprinkle on a teeny tiny bit of balsamic vinager or use your favorite vinagerette in stead of the oil. :teeth:

Hi! We used the recipe out of the "Pumpkin Masters" book this year, since I always burn them.. Arrrgggg!

Spread about 1 1/2 cups of seeds in a single layer in a shallow baking dish. Drizzle with 1/2 tsp. butter and sprinkle with salt or seasoning of your choice. Bake at 300 degrees, stirring occasionally, for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
