We've had a male pomeranian join the corgi gang, and while I know all the corgi quirks and traits, I am clueless about poms. Anyone have any info I need to know? I'm pretty sure there is a dog under all that fluff......:rotfl:

I love poms! I've never had one, but we've had friends with them. They are very sweet, lovable, little puffs of fur! :)

Don't know anything about poms but where the heck have you been? PM Angie and let her know you're still alive after 2 years lol. We were just talking about you recently wondering where you went.

The neighbors have 2 poms and regularly dog-sit for two others. So much personality in such a little body! They are always dancing on their hind feet, begging to be picked up. The few times they have come for a visit, they get along quite well with my older beagle.

Yes, this pom seems to have lots of personality!

Oh, Stacktester, I've been here. Just reading a lot on my iphone and posting only a little. I don't think I drink enough beer to be able to keep up with 'some' people around here! :lmao:

We moved to the north Florida panhandle area last summer and spent a year trying to find teaching jobs. Tight times=no FW  But now the paychecks are back and we have a FW trip planned for this summer--in a cabin, but we'll try to have fun anyway!! :rotfl2:

Thanks for remembering me!!

I have had owned two Poms. They are great companion dogs. Just be careful because they don't realize how small they are and will take on any dog of any size.

I have a peek-a-pom, which is a pekinese/pomeranian mix. He is the sweetest little guy. When I first brought him home, my husband just looked at me and said, "That's not a dog, he's too little. Don't expect me to love it as much as I loved Bailey." Bailey was our big golden lab that died of a rare blood disorder at the young age of 6. Well, here we are four years later, and I swear my husband loves the dog more than he loves me! He's a great dog to take camping. Just like SCCamper said, they have no clue how small they really are, so you kind of have to watch them around bigger dogs.
