If you remember them, they're the old boats that used to go around the river at AK. Allears newsletter was reporting seeing them back in AK and had links to a photo. Here it is...

There are rows numbered 1-20 (actually, 10 rows with a right and left side, separately numbered) which hold 4-5 people each, depending on adult/kid mix. So theoretically, there could be more than 50 per boat. BUT, the crew used the first 2 rows so no people there. AND, they didn't combine parties, so if you had 10 people and needed 2 1/2 rows, you got 3 and didn't have strangers sitting with you. Our party of 20 had 4 rows assigned to us (17-20)....we had 15 adults and 5 kids. There were 4 other parties on our boat for a total of maybe 55 people? I didn't count so I don't know exactly...

As for the view....it doesn't matter, because it's assigned seating....to keep your group together. We viewed Wishes from straight on, slightly tilted so the front corner of the boat points at MK, so the people in the front may have had a slightly better view, but I was in the next to last row and had a perfect view The skipper is pretty conscious of your view and constantly adjusts to keep the view as good as possible.

One side will have a closer view of EWP, but we were so close to it that I had a great view, sitting on the side farthest from it. AND, it depends whether you catch the EWP going out or coming back in as to which side is closer....

So I guess I'm saying don't bother worrying about the view...it can't be planned for, nor can it be requested, but they're all good!
