March or April through May- the exact dates change over the years- it is a little early starting this year- I think do to Easter's early date.

Thank you so much. I haven't been online and when I came here I was SOOOOOOO happy to see these pics. They are beautiful. How do I get a high res copy, if you don't mind. Do you need my email?

I am looking for any pictures of the following if anyone could help:

Voyage of the little mermaidMinnie's country house - outside showing the house
the tree of life - lit up at night
the very ending of lights, motors, action when the car looks like it's heading into the audience.

Here are some pics from Little Mermaid

Here's the tower w/MGM on it:

I can email the hi-res file if you need it. Otherwise, you may be able to right click and choose "save as" and save them in a folder on your computer.

Here's the Tree of Life all lit up -- it's not the greatest of photos.

I love AK at night. We did an EMH last year and it was my first time to see AK lit up. It looks like an entirely different place.

Here's my best Tree of Life night shot, I have a better resolution one on the computer than I can email:

Thanks so much for the Voyage of the Little Mermaid & Tree of Lift pictures!

Susan 0326 what beautiful pictures! How did you manage to get such great close-ups? ;)

Thanks! We were in the first row and the Sony I was using has a pretty good zoom. I was also using no flash; the Sonys I've had also shoot well in low light. The flourescent colors in the Mermaid show really reflect a lot of light so that helped, too.

I just saw in your list of resorts that you've been to the Grosvenor. We stayed there in March of 2001. My son was 5 at the time and he still talks about the breakfast buffet they had there.

Thanks again for your comments.

If you don't mind my asking, which Sony were you using? :thumbsup2

Those were taken in 2003, so they were taken with a Sony Mavica CD400(?) that writes to cd. We replaced it with a newer model that wrote to memory stick but we still love the pictures from that older camera the best!

We just bought a Nikon D40 and it takes great pictures. I've not used it at WDW yet, so we'll see how it does next month on our trip. I'm a little scared the first time w/the SLR, because I'm afraid to mess up and I do treasure my Disney photos. I'll still have my point-and-shoot ready for backup and for on-ride photos!

HTH. Thanks again. I love taking photos at Disney and enjoy sharing my photos. One day I'll master Disney photography, but until then I'll have to keep going back to Disney to work on my technique. :rotfl2:

Don't worry about taking an SLR to Disney. I did it several times having barely even looked at the manual and we did fine with our pics!

A few more wish-list photos:

1. The Mad Tea Party sign lit up at night (I tried this but mine all came out blurry).

2. The red-carpet stairs at Cinderella's Royal Table.

3. The sign outside the Animal Kingdom Lodge (just as you turn to get to the little welcom booth), with the Christmas decorations. I meant to stop and get this picture but never did.

and of course no scrapbook of "The Little Mermaid" is complete without a photo of the big lady herself!

Does anyone have a photo of the Honey I Shrunk the Audience Sign? I got photos of the other 3 3-D Movie Signs but I missed this one.

Thanks!

I just love these pictures!!!! No need to take pics at all when I go to WDW... just come out here and get some great ones that folks have taken!!!

(just kidding by the way, but you guys do take some great photos).
